Story:Onimusha 2 is the second installment in the Onimusha series of video games released in May of 2002. The game retains the action elements from its predecessor such as the use of multiple special weapons that can be upgraded by defeating enemies. Apart from the main character, the game features four playable sub-characters, each of whom shares a part in the story. The player's actions determine which characters will decide to help Jubei in his quest. Onimusha is an amazing series that deserves more love than it's gotten the past decade. It's great a new game us coming out but we can't forget about the first few that made the series what it is today.
The remastered edition that Capcom have in the works, obviously, not the outdated one from a decade ago.
This is my favorite game in the series for a multitude of reasons such as an excellent story, improved gameplay mechanics, five playable characters along with an amazing soundtrack. Considering that Capcom is giving us an HD Remaster I see no reason for it not to be released on GOG.
I remember watching my uncle play this on ps2, I was terrified of all the monsters but MAN was i engaged especially with this being around the time the anime Inuyasha was airing so it just hyped me up even more. Recently completed Onimusha Warlords so I NEED this.
Never got to play this game before but I love warlords and I love demon siege. I tried playing this on an emulator and really loved it but never managed to finish it. I'd love this game to be preserved
