An FPS that doesn't overstay its welcome, RAGE is a game filled with intense action and fun easter eggs (try looking for the goalposts). I've played through it twice on the XBOX 360 and three more times on Steam.

I was thinking about this game the other day after playing “Mad Max” and how I would love to revisit it again. It did many things better. I have memories of the prologue, the world building, the combat, and the driving, all of which were fun. I just wish the story was finished.

I've replayed RAGE countless times, unlocked all the achievements (minus the multiplayer ones) and absolutely love it. I feel RAGE deserves more love than it gets, and it certainly deserves a spot on GOG amongst all the other id Software titles. It may feel different to previous id titles, but it still had charm and pushed graphical capabilities at the time. RAGE truly feels like it's one of a kind.

Just started playing Doom 2016. It's Rage, but all mindless massacre and no racing. So, now I have the jones for Rage. Only, my old Mac version won't work on my new Mac, so I'm gonna hafta buy Rage again. Do I have to get it on Steam? I'd prefer GoG...
As more and more id Software titles are added to GOG's storefront, Rage's absense only feels more glaring to me. Arguably the "ugly duckling" of id's line-up, even moreso than Doom 3, I believe Rage is a historically important game, both for it's game design and technology, and deserves a spot on GOG's storefront as much as id Software's other titles. Let's make it happen!
iD software's own take on a apocalyptic setting, Rage is a game I bought way over a decade ago at the GameStop bargain bin! Fell in love with its charming characters, upgradable weapons, customizable vehicles, and unforgettable levels. While its not a perfect game with lack luster boss fights and an ending that was unsatisfactory, it still left its mark in my heart as a game I will never forget. From finding a VaultBoy bobble head to meeting certain criteria to unlocking classic Doom and Quake rooms, Rage succeeds in its world building. Rage should NOT be ignored by the younger gamers as its Vehicle racing\combat, unique weapons, a pretty fun card game and craftable little spider robot that shoots along side you :) begs gamers that iD software's unique world shouldn't be forgotten! With Doom the dark ages out, I hope iD software returns to rage and preferably keeps it 100% in house (unlike 2).

Hitman
HitmanBecome the Master Assassin in an intense spy-thriller story. As Agent 47, you perform contract hits on powerful, high-profile targets in exotic locations around the world. Gameplay focuses on taking out targets in huge and intricate sandbox levels with complete freedom of approach. Where to go, when to strike and who to kill – it is all up to you. HITMAN is an expanding and evolving world of assassination. The experience began with a Prologue and Paris location in March, continued with Episode 2: Sapienza in April, Episode 3: Marrakesh in May, the Summer Bonus Episode in July, Episode 4: Bangkok in August and Episode 5: Colorado in September. The season finale in Hokkaido, Japan arrived on October 31st. HITMAN also features a major live component, which is made up of Elusive Targets, Escalation Contracts, Community-inspired Challenge Packs and Contracts Mode. An Elusive Target is the closest thing to the Hitman fantasy that we’ve ever created. These targets will be custom-created characters that are added to existing locations and are only there for a limited time in real-time. You’ll only have one chance to take them down. If they escape, they are gone for good. If you kill them, that’s the way that you killed them. There are no do-overs and no second chances. When an Elusive Target leaves the game world (one way or another) they never return. Escalation Mode is something else completely new for HITMAN and was created as a way to regularly provide a fresh challenge to players. You’ll need to master the location as well as the gameplay mechanics to complete a hit that will escalate in difficulty by adding new elements. This mode has a strong focus on having fun with the game mechanics and mixing them up. It’s more about being playful than realistic. Contracts Mode returns from Hitman Absolution; Play-to-create, mark your own targets, choose how to kill them and compete against your friends. We will also pick the best of the bunch and put them in the Featured Contracts list so you’ve got something fresh to play whenever you load up the game.

Battle for Midway
Battle for MidwayIntelligence reports that we have cracked a Japanese coded message. They plan to attack Midway Island and trap and destroy our naval fleet. We have dispatched Task Force 16, with carriers Enterprise and Hornet, and Task Force 17, with carrier Yorktown, to counter these plans. Good luck, gentlemen. You are in command of the two task forces of the Pacific fleet and must destroy or drive off the Japanese carrier divisions. Do not let them take the island of Midway. You have to personally man the guns when the island or task force are attacked. As planes swoop in, shoot them down until they are gone or your gun is destroyed. We're all counting on you, sailor!
