Unlike a certain other popular factory game, the game is 3D; which lends a lot more to the design of factories. Making your factory sprawl and transporting things across the land makes more sense, and the planet you're on doesn't look like an already predried industrialist hell. And while there are alien creatures, many of them are benign, or at worst limited in number. The developers were nice enough to even include an Arachnophobia mode which turns the dangerous skittery spiders into dangerous skittering cats. There's things to discover in the overworld, an ACTUAL GOAL, and much more!
When compared to other factory games, this one does a lot of things right: 1) There's no time limit, no overlooming threat that is waiting to eat your base and infinite resources once you setup a miner on a node. So where's the challenge you say? Well, the miners are limited, and there's better resource nodes (Impure, Normal and Pure categories) higher up in the mountains and or near dangerous locations. The challenge in the game comes from instead trying to connect all of your smaller outposts together and expand ever more. 2) The map is a singular gigantic handcrafted map with several starting zones, each subzone has its advantages and disadvantages but the devs made sure that you are able to thrive in any one of them. There's also tons of collectable resources out there that you'll need to find in order to improve your factory by overclocking, improving a personal stash and or etc. 3) The game is 3D, but graphics is not the only reason they went 3D, it's actually a much deeper and intricate game feature, because once you figure out that there's conveyor lifts to move resources up is when you realize that you can expand your factory vertically. 4) Exploration. It's a side focus of this game, but it is really good, it allows you to take a break from the factory and keep on improving your character and factory by finding new stuff to bring back and or finding new nodes or resources and there's also combat with enemies that habitate the world or guard something valuable. 5) The movement options in this game are really good, you can zipline on your power lines, bunny hop around your world, parachute from high elevation and or use something like vehicles or an intricate set of jumping pads that take you from point A to B 6) Instead of giving you a huge end goal that you need to figure out how to get to yourself, the game subdivides it into several phases, where you need to complete their goal before continuing and unlocking new technology

Kocham tę grę, jest przyjazna dla gracza, nie wymaga pośpiechu. Można grać samemu i z przyjaciółmi w dowolnym momencie. Gra posiada ogromną mapkę, którą wieżę, że powiększą :d. Kocham ludzi którzy ją wymyślili \o/
Satisfactory is one of my favorite games of all time. Everything about the game is so well crafted while still not taking itself too seriously. The first-person building experience feels intensely satisfying. And it progresses in ways that feel good. The game is also infused with a sense of humor. This is all set in a gorgeous world with hugely diverse biomes. The map is large to the point that new players often think the 4 different starting locations are 4 different worlds, when in fact those are just different areas of the same world. I have ~1700 hrs on this game since Update 4, mostly solo. The long-term challenge of this game is working out logistics (i.e. when to use pipes/belts, vehicles, trains, drones, etc) and organization (which are independent factories) of the product lines. I tried many different ways and enjoyed every one of them. There are still some things I have yet to try, including longer-term multiplayer sessions. This is precisely the kind of game that merits preservation.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the KingThe video game adaption of the acclaimed film of the same name. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is a follow up the well received adaption of the first two films in the trilogy. The game expands on what The Two Towers accomplished, with the action and adventure sequel introducing three separate story lines from the movie: one following Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli, as The Two Towers did, another following Gandalf, and a third following Frodo and Sam, with Merry, Pippin, and Faramir serving as unlockable characters. Gameplay features were also expanded upon, including multiplayer.

Discworld
DiscworldDiscworld is a game released for PC (subsequently Mac, and Playstation) by Teeny Weeny / Perfect 10 studios in 1995. The game was released both on floppy disk and CD-Rom. The latter featured a commentary team created of many veterans of famous Brit-Coms. This included Monty Python's Eric Idle, Radio 4's (later to be more famous) Rob Brydon, ex- Doctor Who John Pertwee, 70s pop singer Kate Robbins, and Blackadder star Tony Robinson. The game is a riff on the Discworld title 'Guards, Guards', however many elements of the text have been shifted, not least the inclusion of Rincewind as protagonist. The game featured puzzles which were considered far too difficult and obtuse for gamers of the time, but the game itself has had a lasting legacy, now being accepted into such emulators as SCUMMVM.

The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age
The Lord of the Rings: The Third AgeThe Lord of the Rings:The Third Age introduces entirely new characters which aren't mentioned in the books or movies. The game does relate to the movies by including scenes from all three movies, with new background speech by Ian McKellen (Gandalf). There are seven playable characters in the game which have been created specifically for it, as well a small appearances by characters such as Gandalf, Aragorn, Eowyn, Faramir, and Gothmog. The game covers events in all three movies/books, mostly with references to major events shown through cut scenes, or the scenes from the movies with Ian McKellan's narration. A classic RPG game, The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age has gameplay elements similar to Final Fantasy, where you have a party of characters, each with a different set of skills and attributes, who gain levels, making them stronger as the game progresses. Battles are turn-based, and let the gamer make different decisions on what they want to do to change the outcome of the battle. The game travels through many areas throughout Tolkien's Middle Earth, including The Pelennor Fields and Moria.
