Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe

Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe (1991)

by Lucasfilm Games
Genres:Strategy, Simulator
Themes:Action, Historical, Warfare
Game modes:Single player
Story:After the success of the simulation titles Their Finest Hour: The Battle of Britain® and Battlehawks 1942 in the late 80s, LucasArts decided to follow up those games with another World War II simulation title: Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe. Released in August 1991, the game followed the campaign by the US 8th Air Force to cripple the German Luftwaffe during the final years of World War II. Players could fly in either American or German warplanes. The game was remarkable because many of the playable airplanes were still under development during the war. In other words, the planes were never used extensively in battle, so players could explore “what if ” possibilities with the game. Those possibilities were further expanded by four Tour of Duty expansion packs. The planes in those expansions included the P-38 Lighting, a twin-engine escort fighter and the German Do335, an interceptor aircraft that featured a conventional tractor propeller in the nose as well as a pusher propeller behind the tail of the aircraft.Show more

While the game planes were sprites, the game features a quite unique dynamic campaign and it's quite fun and with a good replay value. You may use a bombers and fighters, with few game modes. It's one of the great hits of LucasArts games.

This game started to me the urge to know more about the 2ns war and all its planes, from both sides. It was very fun to play, and , for the time, revolutionary and realist. I enjoed so much to go on bombing runs, or, the oppsite side, defending the bombers. I can recall heroic moments, very nice time played,. The manual was a book increidible, full of information, really useful. I learned a lot, and I passed very enjoyable time playing it. Por favor, decvuelvánlo a la vida!! We need it.

Played this game for hundreds of hours, and devoured it's manual several times. Bought it around the Easter of "93, the game was mind blowing back then, and stayed as one of my favorites for more than 2 years. Not only one could play in long career mode, with several tours of duty, as you could also play in campaign mode, directing the forces from your side. I would like to see this game on gog, with the 4 add-on planes.

This game is my "most loved and played" Game since i had have a pc. To be honest i need to say, i play it even today, but what a dream would come true, if this game comes back, maybe in a little remake. It is hard to play it under Win10, because i need to work with the DOS-Box. Isnt this a perfect work for you, to make it playable under Win10 or Win 11 ?

I loved this game! It helps me to learn more about the 2ns war. The printed manual is one of the best that I seen, very accurate in describing the planes. Lucasfilm, come back again please!

This was the game that made me convince my dad to buy our first PC! I used to have Battle of Britain on the Amiga prior to that but this was such a step up! Would love to play it again.
i have more hours in this game than in the bed XD this should be preserved as a treasure and the campaigne mode copied in a remake since for me was the most fun part
Those games also need your vote!

Sid Meier's Railroad Tycoon Deluxe
Sid Meier's Railroad Tycoon DeluxeRailroad Tycoon is a game about the fascinating world of railroads: steel tracks stretching to the horizon, promising adventure and romance; steam, diesel, and electric locomotives, some of the largest machines man has ever built; nations transformed by the speed and strength that locomotives could achieve, eclipsing the puny power of man himself and the animals he could domesticate; the sounds of steam whistles, diesel horns, and clanging bells; a world of risk - natural disasters, poor economic times, and rival railroads; and a world of opportunity - money, prestige, and fame. Railroad Tycoon is maybe the most famous Tycoon game. Your goal is to build a railroad empire. You have to build your railroad, improve stations, manage your bank accounts and investments. You have to get the others from business or buy their miserable companies as cheap as possible. Show them who is the real and only one Railroad Tycoon.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3DMetal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is a stealth action game for the Nintendo 3DS. It is a re-release of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The game was released on February, 21, 2012 in North America and on March 8, 2012 in Japan and Europe. It is also the first Metal Gear game to be released on a Nintendo-developed portable system since Metal Gear: Ghost Babel, back in 2000. A digital download version was released in Japan via the Nintendo eShop function on the Nintendo 3DS on December 16, 2014, exactly a decade after the initial release of the original title. The download includes a Snake Eater theme, which included a FOX logo wallpaper, the theme song for the game, cursor sound effects from the Metal Gear series, and folders modeled after the cardboard boxes from the series. Both the digital download for the game itself as well as the 3DS theme were later released in both Europe and North America on December 18, with the game itself costing $19.99. A patch was released a day later to fix a glitch occurring in the WIG area that freezes the game and corrupts save data when using the Circle Pad Pro
