Skate 2
In my opinion, this is the best skating game of all time — better than Skate 3 and every Tony Hawk game. The sound design was top-notch, and the weight behind every trick or fall felt incredibly satisfying. The difficulty hit that perfect sweet spot: challenging but never frustrating.
It had tons of fun game modes to enjoy solo or with friends, like Hall of Meat, Death Race, and Party Play. But the real magic was in just free-roaming the open world — pulling off tricks from ridiculously high spots and finding your own lines. Nothing else captured the feeling of skating quite like this.
