This game, in fact, does have a PC port, and with the lackluster release of Sonic Origins (as well as this game being a core flashback into Sonic's mid-2000's history), I believe it should be preserved. Let the kids have OG S3&K!!!

I actually had the original version along with the PS2 updated version. Despite a more notable audio problem. You get newer stuff in Extras than the stuff originally in there. You get two Genesis games that were originally exclusive to the Japanese version of Sonic Mega Collection. Comix Zone and The Ooze respectively. They also added in six Sonic Game Gear games as well. It's already a great lineup of Sonic games. Regardless of which version the theme song I always enjoyed. This is a great game to start getting into the franchise with. You even get the lock-on games that's not in many compilation games. Although for PC version of Sega Genesis Classics you can get those as roms for two Sonic games free. The presentation is very decent for it's time. This updated version on several platforms. You simply getting more than the original version. If you love Sonic you gotta play this!!!

Aside from Radica's Genesis Collection Volume 2 plug-and-play system, this was the very thing that helped introduce me not only to Sonic the Hedgehog, but SEGA as a whole. Some memories I have playing this were trying to get past Chemical Plant Act 2, as well as looking at the Archie Comic covers and Sonic Heroes intro.

The opening, the menu music and the amount of artwork, comics, etc. It's worse the buy just for that. But then it comes with the whole Sonic collection from the Genesis and GameGear era. This is the reason why I didn't need emulation and is still amazing even today. So many memories with this.

When i was 8-9 i rented this game from my local library and installed it. I had so many good memories with it (the boxing game and pinball one especially). If this game could become available again it would make my inner child so happy! I hope it can be achieved somehow.
This was the first video game I ever played, and probably one of the best compilations ever made. The games are all-time classics, of course, but the presentation with the amazing visuals, music, and extras make the whole thing amazing. There is a PC version out there, so I'd love to see this get GOG'd.
Those games also need your vote!

The Addams Family
The Addams FamilyBased on the Addams Family movie, the TurboGrafx-16 CD version is quite different from the other Addams Family variants. The player is cast in the role of Tully Alford, the crooked lawyer of the Addams family. He finds out that somewhere in the family mansion, a great treasure is stored in a vault. He decides to venture into the mansion and retrieve the treasure. Naturally, this is going to be anything but easy, as the insane Addams family members and a legion of ghosts and monsters are there to make sure the lawyer fails... Like most other Addams Family incarnations, this is a side-scrolling action game. Tully Alford's only weapon is an umbrella that fires energy shots at enemies. Tully can also jump and duck to avoid enemy blows. The game world consists of a "hub" area, the hall of Addams Family mansion, and many rooms, most of which are locked in the beginning of the game. The gameplay consists mainly of exploring the accessible rooms and collecting keys that are needed to open other doors in the process. Some of the rooms contain treasure and power-ups, while others are infested by monsters or require the player to defeat a boss enemy in order to advance.

The Addams Family
The Addams FamilyThe Addams Family is a platform game based on the characters and settings from the movie (which, in turn, is based on the famous 1960's television series, which in turn is based on Charles Addams cartoon of the same name, which was featured in the magazine, The New Yorker, in the 30's). The game takes place towards the end of the movie: the Addams Family has been evicted from their home by a court order issued by a backstabbing attorney (there's one for the books), Tully Alford. Even worse, the other Addamses: Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Granny and Lurch have gone missing. As Gomez, you must tour the Addams mansion in search of your lost family, battling out mysterious monsters and evading traps, and eventually face your nemesis, Tully.

Sonic Adventure: Limited Edition
Sonic Adventure: Limited EditionThe Limited Edition of Sonic Adventure was a pre-release version of the game distributed to stores and rental locations, it did not include any bonus content. History: The Limited Edition of Sonic Adventure was originally distributed to approximately 400 Funcoland locations as a disc-only release to be used in Dreamcast kiosks promoting the upcoming release of the console. These discs included a trimmed down version of the game based on the Japanese release and had saving and network connectivity disabled along with other minor differences; they were known to be buggy. Later, a variant of the release was distributed to Hollywood Video as part of a pre-release promotion in which the game could be rented along with a console before it’s official launch. This variant of the game allowed saving and included a case and manual. The disc, game manual cover, and spine of the case all state “Limited Edition” and the artwork differs slightly from the standard edition release. Due to it’s exclusive distribution through a rental chain many of the original game cases were lost or destroyed and replaced in whole or in part with cases or manuals from the standard edition release, also many discs were tagged with a “Hollywood Video” security sticker.
