Story:Star Trek is a text-based strategy video game based on the Star Trek television series (1966–69) and originally released in 1971.
In the game, the player commands the USS Enterprise on a mission to hunt down and destroy an invading fleet of Klingon warships. The player travels through the 64 quadrants of the galaxy to attack enemy ships with phasers and photon torpedoes in turn-based battles and refuel at starbases. I played this game when I was a kid at a College For Kids camp at the local community college. It was on their mainframe, green screen monitors and every turn printed out on green bar paper. I later found code that created a similar game published in a book at the local library. I spent hours typing in that program ... and discovered a bug in the code. It was my first time debugging a computer program. Once I fixed it, I played it for hours and loved every minute of it. I shared the debugged program with my classmates and we spent hours during rainy recess playing it.
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. Robot Alchemic DriveRobot Alchemic Driver is a Big Robot/Monster fight in a modern city with a twist. There is a story and training mode and a 2 player vs. mode. In a nut shell, alien's attack the last city on earth. The big robot comes up, and here is where the twist come in, you have to control the robot from the perspective of the "hero" (three to choose from) and you can switch between the robot/hero mode. This forces you to make sure you have a strategic position to move the hero around in the city to see the battle without getting too close.
