on a surface level this game may not seem that special: Standard Star Wars tie-in game. But it manages to greatly expand on sequences from the movie, manages to feel very lived in, and gives a surprising amount of freedom considering it isn't open ended like an RPG. The Tatooine levels alone feel HUGE.

I played this game so much back in the day, and I still play it every once and a while 26 years later. There are so many funny small interactions and comments from the NPCs. Years before the Stranger Missions from Red Dead Redemption, The Phantom Menace would have you roaming the streets of Mos Espa looking for JarJar, and you'd happen upon a mother who's son was being kept captive, or a resident who'd been kicked out of his home by a local gang. The choice to help or not was always yours. In addition, when talking to certain characters, you're given a list of things you can say to them, in the style of an adventure game or a TellTale game. All this made the worlds feel alive and made you feel like you truly had a choice in the way the story unfolded and how you wanted to portray Ob-Wan or Qui-Gon as behaving. It's a wonderful expansion to the film, and it deserves to be preserved forever on GOG.

This game, along with Episode 1 - Racer, were my childhood. Spent so many hours wandering Tatooine. My first exposure to an open-world game (rudimental thought it might seem now but not at the time) and I've been hooked on that genre ever since. They've re-released the Playstation version of Phantom Menace but it doesn't hold up nearly as well as the PC version.

One of the earliest memories of playing a PC game that I have. Me and my cousin are huge Star Wars nerds and spent so much time trying to get through this game - which as 5-6 year olds was really tough! I can't remember ever beating it, only getting to the final boss. Getting to replay this on the PC with a proper port, rather than relying on emulation or workarounds would be a dream come true!

Am a longtime fan of the prequels and have a lot of wonderful memories in playing this game. It was simple but was remarkably enjoyable given that alot of video game tie ins from films often arent made well. Please bring this game back GOG!
My first game on PC (old XP) and I really like to have this game! Unhappily to play today I need many fixes and hackes to play well (only on Linux I can play good enough)

I love this title, I play it as a child and it has a PC version, that is very old, I think it deserves a little love for this game. I was playing it in my father's store, he was working and I was playing this game, in a old computer 🖥. I love this game :) ❤️

I have spent SO MUCH time with this game as a kid and I would really love to show it properly to my wife who has never played it (she was just a 3 years old back in 1999, so it makes sense :D)

This game was THE SW game in my childhood, despite watching my dad play Dark Forces II, this and Racer were the defining part, after which I was judging other SW games I played - did they bring the same feeling of immersion and awesomeness playing a Jedi did. Because of this I played KOTORs pretty late after it's release, as I was put off by the combat being a series of orders rather then my direct inputs. This is why also SW:TOR didn't keep me for long, when I cut something with a lightsaber, it should perish fairly quickly, not withstand 20 swings across the torso and PM along with JOII and Academy achieved that perfectly. This game is special to me, as it's sort of a grandfather of this particular style of gameplay combined with the (sorta) open world exploring.
Star Wars is my favorite saga and the Phantom Menace game was great, I have played it countless times and I would like to do it today, it is a beautiful memory of my childhood

Silent Hill: Downpour
Silent Hill: DownpourSilent Hill: Downpour is the eighth Silent Hill video game installment and the last fully-released video game in the series. Just like its predecessors, Downpour combines exploring abandoned surroundings, talking to characters, and solving puzzles, set against a slow, psychological horror theme. Different from the previous game Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is the return of combat. The player often has to fight off monsters using a variety of weapons, but he can carry only one melee and one ranged weapon who can deteriorate over time. Entirely new to the series is the introduction of a weather system: there is a full day and night cycle and rain often warns the player of danger that is approaching. It is possible to hide until the weather becomes better again.

Silent Hill: Origins
Silent Hill: OriginsSilent Hill: Origins is the fifth installment in the Silent Hill survival horror series, and a prequel to the original game. As in the previous entries, the player move back and forth between nightmare and real versions of the town, gathering items used to solve puzzles and open up new areas. Monsters of various types provide obstacles and, in series tradition, are mostly disturbingly twisted versions of humanity. The main character can fight with his bare fists or use melee weapons. Unlike previous games in the series, melee weapons break after a time. There are also one-shot items that can be thrown and several guns. There is no HUD, but the edge of the screen turns red when the protagonist is near death.
