The gameplay consists of what the developers describe as Hollywood Realism, focusing on scripted, cinematic gameplay. The game is played entirely from the first-person perspective, except for the portions with vehicular combat with a tank and an exoskeleton. Next to the single-player campaign, there is squad-based multiplayer called Warzone with five different kinds of missions (Assassination, Search & Retrieve, Search & Destroy, Bodycount and Capture & Hold) based on seven kinds of classes. Killzone: Shadow Fall - Intercept
Killzone: Shadow Fall - InterceptKillzone Shadow Fall Intercept places you and up to three of your friends on the elite VSA team known as Intelligence Squad Alpha. Operating behind enemy lines, your team must relay intercepted military transmissions back to VSA headquarters through a set of captured Uplinks, while defending them from Helghast troops. To keep the enemy at bay long enough to establish a secure connection, you will have to master your assigned Combat Role — Assault, Marksman, Medic or Tactician — and work together as a team. Your AI-controlled Helghast opponents have their own sets of goals and Combat Roles, and will switch up their tactics and angles of attack when they recapture an Uplink.

Killzone: Liberation
Killzone: LiberationKillzone Liberation is the sequel to the PS2 game Killzone. New to the franchise is the top-down/third-person perspective, instead of the PS2's first-person pure FPS approach. During the action, you can switch to a tactical overview to plan your actions. The screen zooms out and the actions are slowed down, while icons pop up to show the different actions and objectives. The game comes with a full range of Ad Hoc settings for multiplayer, with co-op and competitive play modes included, such as Deathmatch, Assault and Capture the Flag for up to six players.

Killzone 3
Killzone 3Killzone 3 is the fourth game in the Killzone franchise. Several improvements have been made over its prequel, and it can be seen in overall smoother and more balanced gameplay. As in previous game, you will commandeer various turrets and vehicles which will add to firepower but will leave you with rails-driven gameplay. One of the new weapons is a jet-pack which lets you jump and semi-fly with unlimited ammo as a part of new exoskeleton. The environment can sometimes be destroyed or used to your advantage, shooting barrels or certain plants will take out nearby enemy soldiers. Beside single-player campaign, Killzone 3 offers an upgraded version of Killzone 2's multiplayer. The game is also the first in the franchise to support 3D TVs.
