Universal & Atari ordering GOG to removing this game from sale was a mistake. I had to use a friend's GOG installer to replay this classic gem. What's the problem here? Vin Diesel didn't get paid enough? Or they just got greedy with the rights?

please, we need to have this playable i own it on steam but the drm makes impossible to play as the key wont work with it. we need this masterpiece preserved for the future of gaming
An incredible sequel to an incredible game. The refinements to gameplay and visuals make for a worthy follow up to an already ahead of its time game. This game also includes both games in one package, so this might be the one to preserve in the end. This is the peak of its own franchise (the movies themselves aren't anything to write home about) so please, GOG, hit up Atari and bring this franchise to your platform!!

This is one of the best licensed games of all time. It has no right to be as good as it is but it's genuinely really really good. It's a shame that it's been delisted from everywhere and has kinda fallen into obscurity. Would love to see it relisted.
Bought this on console and it came with escape from butcher bay which was an added bonus, so i was able to play both games. I wasn't expecting them to be as good as they were, but fair play i enjoyed them both.

A great game, sadly unavailable. You can't buy Chronicles Of Riddick anywhere but a pawnshop nowadays. Even if you acquired it on PC it has technical issues. After the Alpha Protocol story, this sounds like a perfect candidate for GOG's game resurrection wizardry.

I used to absolutely LOVE these games! Right around the time i turned 12 or 13, somewhere in there, my dad took me to see the The Chronicles of Riddick. I not only sparked my love for this universe, but lead me to Butcher Bay on the original xbox. Phenomenal stealth/action/fighter with great voice acting, fun combat, and Vin Diesel himself reprising the role of Riddick. Fast forward a few years and I was able to get my first pc with a dedicated GPU. One of the FIRST game i bought on disc was Assault on dark Athena, bundled with the aforementioned BB. I can not tell you the countless hours i poured into the two, upgrading my pc on several occasions just to get it to look better ahahaha. I cant tell you either, the amount of joy, gratitude, and damn near love i have for GoG for doing what you do... If this happens to make it to the store, you've got a guaranteed customer right here!

It was a great deal back in the day; two full games, both prequels to a cult classic sci-fi film series that felt like original, interesting games instead of a (at the time typical) direct tie-in. The first person melee, focus on stealth, interacting with characters and a fleshed out sci-fi world, all really made this a memorable game. It's a crying shame it's impossible to play right now, anywhere outside of an old console copy -- and the clock is ticking on those copies, since the hardware will fail, and the discs will break. I own a PC boxed copy but the DRM servers are down, so you can't even launch it anymore. I'd be first in line to pick this up if it came back to GOG; we want to play it again, and we're down to give you some money for the trouble. Seems like a win-win to me.

This is one of the best and most innovative FPS games ever + It's pretty much one of the ALL TIME BEST Movie property games! Damn we need a REMASTER!!! + a Sequel!
If we can get this game back we'd also get back Escape from Butcher Bay Remastered for free, we need this back so bad... Seriously I don't care what needs to happen it's way better than our current situation where people have to seriously consider piracy in order to play a great game.
Those games also need your vote!

The Suffering: Ties That Bind
The Suffering: Ties That BindThe Suffering: Ties That Bind follows in the footsteps of its predecessor by combining a disturbing horror atmosphere with action/shooter gameplay. Players can switch between third person and first person depending on their preference, and will shoot a lot of hideous demonic manifestations of evil before the game is done. The player is also able to transform into a hideous creature at key times in the game, which allows him to engage in intense melee combat. The game includes a morality system which records the player's actions during gameplay and changes the story accordingly, and also alters the player's creature form. Everything from the first The Suffering has been refined and turned up a notch for the sequel.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
