I played this game for hundreds of hours back in the Dire Wolf Digital days. It was the first card game I really got into, and was fantastic in every way. I'll always remember the sleepless nights playing my theme decks. This game definitely had a role in turning me into a bit of a card gamer, making me branch out into MTG, and now the FFTCG. So sad to know that its final day is tomorrow, just wish there could at least be an offline version for all the single-player stuff like the stories.

This is one of the greatest games ever made, and it has touched my life in innumerable ways. It revived my love of card games and further deepened my love of The Elder Scrolls universe. My boyfriend and I first got into this game a few years after launch, and now, after years of playing and thousands of hours sunk in, he's now my husband and our love for the game has not waned. The joy that playing this game daily has brought to our lives can not be overstated, and it is sad to see it go. A formidable display to all of you Legends, and may your road lead you to warm sands. ^^

I love The Elder Scrolls Legends so much that it's been my number one played game for years now. I'm a huge TES fan and this is one of very few card games I enjoy but I absolutely enjoy it. I've always loved playing this game with friends and I would tirelessly try and climb the ranks every month, landing the top Legend rank a handful of times. It breaks my heart to see this game discontinued and the years I've spent crafting decks, playing with friends, and all of the awesome lore that comes from this game. I really hope the game gets revived somehow and my heart is honestly so shattered knowing not even offline play will be preserved when the servers are gone. This game meant everything to me and I absolutely mean that. The fan base is small but so incredibly dedicated and I've had so many fun experiences in offical and fan-made tournaments.

my very first card game, and surely the best, this game instilled in me all my understanding of internet community and i grew with it. the universe i'ts based on is one of the most compelling and the atmosphere that provides no other game of the genre managed to recreate. in spite of its publisher, this game is amazing, with all its quirks and memes, an absolute blast to enjoy no matter the type of match you're in, and the solo story mode is also so unique and beautiful to partake, a truly masterpiece in worldbuilding, this game adds so much to the franchise, something i don't think any card game ever came close to do. i truly wish this piece of my life stays alive forever

This is the most brilliant CCG (and I dare say, card game overall) I've ever played, and it still is, even without having updates in years. It is really sad that it is shutting down, since the community is still active and passionate for it. It would really be a dream come true if it was saved and returned to us! Hope is the last weapon we all have!

As a card game fan (Yugioh player) and Elder Scrolls fan, this game was a dream come true when it was announced, and its full release coincided with a time in my life where I really needed it. Sure enough, it has been a staple pastime for me for the past 8 years. The game design is truly phenomenal. I've had so much fun building and perfecting a wide array of quirky decks, as well as grinding the ranked ladder and weekly events. The artwork is beautiful, the voice-overs and VFX are charming, and the soundtrack is incredible. The single-player campaigns are amazing games in their own right that add exciting new stories to the Elder Scrolls universe. The card pool even made me more curious about lore I was not previously aware of. It was just an experience that kept on giving. Despite being in maintenance mode for several years with no new updates, I would frequently come back to try out a new deck or perfect an old favourite, and never failed to find a match-up; a true testament to the game's superb design. It's a shame we'll never know what new cards and balance tweaks the developers had in store, but I'd be content with just being able to revisit the game as it was left for years to come.
Loved the game, but they shut it down. It really had a lot of potential and they threw it away. Would love to see this game preserved in some way. I already miss playing it.

This is the best card game I ever played. Whenever I would quit other games I would always come back to TESL to play. The gameplay is amazing and the kind of combo's you can pull off is so fun. I wish someone would revive this game soon!

Arc the Lad II
Arc the Lad IIThis direct sequel to "Arc the Lad" continues the unfinished story of the first game, but starts from a totally different perspective. You control a bounty-hunter named Elk, who suffers from amnesia. On his quest for his own true identity he discovers the powers hidden within him, and the destiny of his entire tribe. While pursuing his archenemy, Elk meets up with Arc, the hero of the first game, and then both realize they have been looking to destroy the very same evil. The battle system of "Arc the Lad II" is similar to the one used in its predecessor: in battles you can move your characters on the battle field, and your proximity to the enemies plays an important role. You cause and take different amounts of damage depending on your position on the battle field. Unlike the first game, this one is a full-fledged adventure/RPG, without the "strategy" feel of the predecessor. You move through the game world on your own, visiting towns and exploring dungeons.

Arc the Lad III
Arc the Lad IIIThe events of this game take place several years after Elk and Arc faced their ultimate enemy in "Arc the Lad II". You control Alec, a teenager whose entire village was destroyed by an unknown evil - an event that was later called "The Great Disaster". He was saved by a mysterious Hunter. Since then, growing peacefully in a village he was brought to, which was like a new home for the survivors of the Great Disaster, Alec dreams about meeting the Hunter again, and becoming a Hunter himself. Together with his best friend Lutz he tries his luck in nearby towns, receiving small Hunter jobs, until the fate crosses the ways of the two young people with a mysterious organization called the Academy. And there their adventure really begins... The gameplay of this third installment of Arc the Lad series is very similar to that of the predecessor. You fight enemies in turn-based battles, and can move freely on the battlefield, positioning your party members the way you like.
