Story:This game tells the tale of yet another adventure for the Ghost Recon group, an elite team of military soldiers. The story and game are completely different from those of the game with the same name published by Ubisoft for the Playstation 2.
In line with the franchise, this is a realistic first-person tactical shooter in which you are given command of a handful of soldiers which you must use and direct to accomplish a series of missions. This particular game offers storyline-type missions which can be played in either single player mode or co-operative multiplayer. It also offers competitive multiplayer game modes: deathmatch, survival and defend.
Story: The year is 2010 and the situation in Bogota explodes. Explosions, gun fights and general mayhem trouble major Colombian cities as the ever-fragile cease-fire between guerrilla groups and right-wing paramilitaries has just been broken. The driving force behind the violence has been identified as the MFLC (Movimiento de las Fuerzas Libres Colombianas), a paramilitary group funded by drug cartels. Washington, in collaboration with the Cuban and Colombian governments who are clearly overwhelmed by the current events, has chosen to put an end to the MFLC once and for all. This along with Island Thunder & the OG GR as well as GR2 were games that my dad owned and i remember when moving back in with him, it was so sick to discover these alongside him even having an interest in gaming. We played these on the OG Xbox, but having all of these back in one place especially GOG, would be a great way to hold onto memories.
I loved playing it on my ps2 back in the day, couldn't get past the first mission for the longest time, then suddenly did and got halfway through the game! Would love to have it back easily available!

Like in the original game, you begin this enhanced version of Galaga controlling a ship that moves horizontally along the bottom of the playfield and fires upward at wave after wave of diving, swirling aliens that eventually fly into formation. However, unlike the original, this game, depending on what mission you are playing, features a number of other viewpoints, including over the shoulder, top down and side on. You can fire just two shots at a time, but you can gain the ability to have three shots onscreen at once.
Also like the original game, GALAGA -- Destination: Earth features challenge waves in which you blast streams of enemies for points while not having to worry about your own safety. And, of course, you can let a Galaga capture your ship, then shoot your ship's captor, letting the captured ship fall to you, enabling you to double your firepower.
