Ultimate Spider-Man is the first Marvel superhero game that allows you to explore all of New York freely, and even play as Venom! The game has a never-before-seen story intertwined with the comics and is full of secrets and mini-games to discover, which made me spend hours trying to find them all. It would be great to be able to play it again!

I remember playing this game on the PS2, such a blast. Genuinely need to see a resurgence especially with the release of "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" on Disney+ matched the exact same vibes and tone of this game

While the PC port is decent, based off the Xbox version, it lacks widescreen, controller only support D-Input and X-input is not great (QTE is f@#ked). There is a Widescreen Fix by Sergey P. AKA ThirteenAG Widescreen, but it broke the Minimap for some reason. Also, the bugs broke immersion to say the least. Like Cutscene is broken with the patch and Venom unable to climb above 30FPS since it's capped. And it crashed on Win10+11 when it's booting up. It's F@#ked.

I wanna play this again after playing it on my cousin's PS2 and some computer back when I was 5th grade. Improve textures for models and extra content. And new costumes.

This game brings back so many memories, from swinging and chilling to beat Human Torch on a race and the epicness of the fights and story was really peak. I spent hours and hours just swinging and going to the top building of NY and just standing there watching... And the Venom missions were something really bold, like a f-ing force of nature at your disposal. Playing it again would be having again one of the best gaming experiences of my childhood.

Before Insomniac’s games I considered this the best Spider-Man game ever made. As a kid I loved this game on the PS2. I remember so many cool boss fights with characters like Venom, Rhino, Electro and even Wolverine. I raged a lot at the Human Torch races because of their hard difficulty but they were still fun. The street crimes were also fun, sometimes a mini boss like Shocker or Boomerang will appear and that made them more interesting to seek out. The game also captured Mark Bagley’s art style from the Ultimate Spider-Man comics and translated it incredibly well into the 3D Graphics.

In 2005 I worked in Santa Monica at Activision as a play tester on the PC port of this game and got my name in the credits! We did a lot of check lists just to see if bugs popped up on the computer, but since the game was a console port, if a bug was part of the original code we didn't have to do much since it wasn't going to be fixed.

>Stylized cel-shaded graphics making the game look like a comic book that went 3D and got a life of its own and based on the series set in Earth-1610. >Play as either Spidey or Venom with both having visibly different gameplay mechanics. Save people as the web-head or eat them as the fanged blob monster. >Explore Manhattan and Queens. >Fight Earth-1610 iterations of classic Marvel villains. >Fun story, fun gameplay and equally nice music. The only minus of this game is that it was short and I never discovered how to replay the story missions...if it ever had such a feature. Overall 10/10. A pleasant blast from the past when Marvel was something and not Disney-fied.

Love this game and the run it's based on, would love to see it on GoG in the future. I managed to find an old disc of the pc version, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. What a shame.

Lembro de ter jogado esse jogo na minha infância, foi umas das melhores experiências. Com uma estética baleada nos quadrinhos, o jogo consegue trazer um combate bem divertido e comum mudo aberto que reprende.
