Oh man such a fun game, though I played the N64 version which I enjoyed a lot. The music and stuff sounded different. No idea how this would get ported to PC but would be nice. The nostagia is doing a lot of heavy lifting though because looking at the screen shots show how blocky the vehicles really are. I also enjoyed the sequel Second offense which was a nice followup. When I heard about the xbox version that came out much later I got excited only to see it was only for xbox which was a let down. Plus looked like it was more simplified Vigilante game with slightly updated graphics. Really stinks we haven't really had any fun new vehicle combat games in a long time. Last one I remember seeing was more like a destruction derby setting which just isn't that interesting to me. I want more 60-80's style vibe with classic vehicles with machine guns attached to them! lol
Only 178 votes for this classic?? didn't it start the trend of vehicules with weapons ??? incredible game so fun, we need a comeback !!! there has been some games today that recapture it, but not with a succesfull online, it's a shame because that would be a banger
Me and the bros would play 4-player splitscreen on the N64 all the time instead of studying for finals. The fun characters, deformable terrain, combo moves, special attacks, interactive levels, and cheats made it a blast to play. A faithful port on PC with modern controller support and optional graphics enhancements would be worthy of a full retail price for me!

I grew up with a demo on PlayStation 1. In later years, I fully experienced the Nintendo 64 version. I gotta make something crystal clear. Yes it's a car combat game like Twisted Metal series. I also can argue how it differs from that. I even ended up preferring this over most of them. The goal isn't simply destroy all your opponents. They were quite creative to get every characters objectives within the stages. This helped made playing as them a notably different experience. The soundtrack quickly grows on you. The sound effects are truly fantastic as well. This game actually made it easier to replay because of those objectives. You also can save your process that covers every characters. Which was quite ambitious at the time to do. Even considering the Nintendo 64 version the audio difference didn't change much. The controls I argue was better than Twisted Metal series. My mind was blown the more I played this game. The same company also made Interstate '76 series. Vigilante 8 is packed with content to keep you busy for hours. A good variety of modes especially having an friend or family member with ya. This is easily among my favorite car combat games I ever played!!!

This game was awesome, and even since today have not played anything like this one. was super fun when played split screen on ps1. shoot enemies and upgrade your car. missions were cool, though sometimes upgrading your vehicle was not that easy, but that med it fun.
Played on PlayStation 1! Good memories 🥲! Anyway the game is Funny, crazy to tie, frantic and ..... Did I say funny? Full of cutscenes that try to explain the plot, even if it's not necessary! The important thing is to shoot and run, with those crazy cars and surreal characters that will make you die of laughter. Recommended!
Those games also need your vote!

Kiss: Psycho Circus - The Nightmare Child
Kiss: Psycho Circus - The Nightmare ChildWicked Jester, a band of four, are headed for a Friday night gig at The Coventry, a rundown dive outside of town. They arrive only to find the parking lot deserted, the club seemingly dead. The band's members: Pablo Ramirez, Andy Chang, Gabriel Gordo and Patrick Scott, stepping from their van, are startled by a voice from the shadows. She offers them four tickets to a circus -- tonight's the grand finale! Having nothing better to do, the four accept and the nightmare begins. Based on characters from comic book author Todd McFarlane, KISS Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child brings the horror and carnage of the Psycho Circus to the PC in a shooter format. There are two-dozen creatures to battle with and three classes of weapons to use, each with four specific types: melee (beast claws, thornblade, twister and punisher), common (zero cannon, magma cannon, windblade and scourge) and ultimate (stargaze, galaxion, spirit lance and draco). In addition to the weaponry, temporary power-ups and instant items such as health, attack and defense powers are available.

Borderlands 2: Deluxe Vault Hunter's Edition
Borderlands 2: Deluxe Vault Hunter's EditionGearbox sends gamers back to the Borderlands for a shooter-adventure sequel of high-velocity combat and custom character development. The first-person action plays out in dystopian outpost environments on the original game's planet of Pandora, five years later, as a greedy industrialist called Handsome Jack seeks to weed out the local populace through a series of gladiator matches. Players choose from four new character types, each with three branches of specialized development in the game's RPG-like experience system. Experience comes with kills and quest completions. Expanding on the original game, Borderlands 2's gun system can create millions of different computer-generated weapons, as well as shields and equipment enhancements. Non-player characters are more expressive, and quest outcomes have more influence on the game world. In addition to the dusty, desert settings of the first adventure, the sequel visits a number of new Pandora environments, including the merciless frozen tundra where the revenge-driven plotline begins. Online, over a local network, or in split screen, the game's co-op mode allows a second player to freely join and drop out of a game in session. The "Deluxe Vault Hunter's Collectors Edition" offers players the full game, an authentic Marcus Kincaid bobblehead doll, a hardbound art book, a set of four collectible stickers, a map of Pandora, and DLC including a digital comic.
