Blizzard has replaced this game with an awful "remaster" and effectively made this classic defunct. This game's legacy is at risk of being slaughtered by its owners. As a younger man who appreciates history, I'd love to experience this game like the older gamers in the universe.

I had never stopped to think about how games can die until I saw what Blizzard did with Warcraft 3... A legend has been unceremoniously destroyed and replaced by a deformed, grotesque aberration. If there's one game that deserves to come back from the grave, it's this one.

Work Work. ^^ What can I say about this incredible game? Hours and hours of play. Even at school, I was thinking about Warcraft instead of working ahah. One of the best games in the world ❤️

Let's hope that after blizzard took it down from gog, it might be reintroduced :). Otherwise, it's a fantastic game, people still play it, and the story is amazing!

remastered is a disaster, we can play with original but without all the widescreen patch because they not set a proper stand alone patch, hope gog can restore that game from reforged disaster

This game is definitely one of those games that you want to play before you die. It has everything I like, Strategy, some light RPG stuff and a nice fantasy world to conquer.
Can I play Bleach vs One Piece with this one? 🤣 ooh man, the memories.... Played those when I was still in school, the custom maps made by the communities... all those are now lost. Idk how this GoG dreamlist works but i hope we can build custom maps again and share it.
I remember playing the demo of this game that my father installed on his computer, and I enjoyed playing the demo, and it introduced me to the RTS genre, and I have my dad to thank for that. Even though I never got to play the full game throughout my life, I am happy and willing to see this game be unleashed onto GOG, alongside the previous two Warcraft games. If GOG is the way to be able to play as the Orcs again like I did in the demo, then sign me up!

Blizzard used to be known for high quality releases (up to and including Starcraft 2) and this game should be first and foremost in their showcase of achievements. It was a blend of everything they got right in all other games : great story, great mechanics, great voice acting and music, great balance, great replayability, and high modding potential. At the time it was released, there was no other game that could even hope to compete with Warcraft III, and it can still go toe-to-toe with modern ones. Out of all the games missing from GoG, if this doesn't deserve to be here as a Good Old Game, I don't know which one does.

"This kingdom shall fall and from the ashes shall arise a new order, that will shake the very foundations of the world" Its a crime that the only version we can buy online is that awful remaster, a legendary game like this deserves its original version to be preserved in this site.
Those games also need your vote!

Dune
DuneDune is a 1992 video game, based upon Frank Herbert's science fiction novel of the same name. Developed by Cryo Interactive, is the first of the Dune computer games. Dune blended adventure with economic and military strategy, and is considered by many the most immersive Dune computer game. Loosely following the story of the novel, the game casts the player as Paul Atreides, with the ultimate goal of driving the Harkonnen from Planet Dune, while managing spice extraction, military, and later, ecology through the native Fremen tribes. As the player progresses, his troops are equipped with weapons from "crysknives" to atomics, tap into Paul's latent psychic powers, and get acquainted with such characters from the book as Chani and Liet-Kynes.

Alexander
AlexanderAlexander is an RTS based on the movie of the same same, and the real-life Alexander the Great. The game follows the same general path as the movie, and includes media straight from the film. Present in the game are Greek, Persian, Indian and Egyptian forces, with a campaign for each. The hybrid 2D/3D engine (2D units, 3D terrain - also used in Cossacks 2: Napoleonic Wars) allows for a very large number of troops on the field. This is used to good effect, as battles can easily contain hundreds of units. Finally, multiplayer and skirmish levels are available, and the soundtrack (of the game and the movie) is by the composer Vangelis.

Tenchu Z
Tenchu ZTenchu Z is an action-adventure stealth video game. It is different from previous games in the series in that the player creates their own ninja characters, then builds up their skills as they play through the game rather than choosing from a small selection of pre-made characters, as they take orders from the series' previous main male character, Rikimaru.

L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition
L.A. Noire: The Complete EditionL.A. Noire is set in Los Angeles in 1947 and challenges the player, controlling a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officer, to solve a range of cases across five divisions. Players must investigate crime scenes for clues, follow up leads, and interrogate suspects, and the player's success at these activities will impact how much of each case's story is revealed. The game draws heavily from both the plot and aesthetic elements of film noir, stylistic films made popular in the 1940s and 1950s that share similar visual styles and themes, including crime and moral ambiguity. The game uses a distinctive colour palette, but in homage to film noir it includes the option to play the game in black and white. Various plot elements reference the major themes of detective and mobster stories such as Key Largo, Chinatown, The Untouchables, The Black Dahlia, and L.A. Confidential. L.A. Noire is notable for using Depth Analysis's newly developed technology MotionScan, whereby the actors portraying the game's characters were recorded by 32 surrounding cameras to capture facial expressions from every angle. The technology is central to the game's interrogation mechanic, as players must use the suspects' reactions to questioning to judge whether or not they are lying. L.A. Noire was the first video game to be shown at the Tribeca Film Festival. Upon release, the game received wide acclaim for its advances in storytelling and facial animation technology. As of February 2012, both PC and console versions had shipped nearly 5 million copies combined. In addition to the original full game, L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition for PC will include a multi-use code to access all the previously released downloadable content from the console versions, including the “Nicholson Electroplating” Arson case, the “Reefer Madness” Vice case, “The Consul’s Car” Traffic case, “The Naked City” Vice case and “A Slip of the Tongue” Traffic case.
