Hey Xyem!

I hope you are feeling better. I do empathize with the loss of a loved cat as I had this happen to me about 3 years back. She was a pure black ball of chubbiness and fur and was one of my best friends and that is pretty amazing considering the reputation cats have as being aloof and uncaring.

I hope your pain and grief won't last long and that you will always remember the good times you had with Diego :)

Navagon: I had a cat just like that. I was amazed he lasted 14 years given his insane appetite.
My cat used to be my alarm clock, I'd just think at her "I need to be up at 6 AM" and she'd wake me up right on the dot. Freaking weird, I tell you :D

hedwards: Cat's tend to know when food O'clock comes around.
She was a free range cat sort of, meaning there were always kibbles in a bowl somewhere :P Dry ones, of course :D
