Private servers via Galaxy (=DRM-free multiplayer for all games)

More and more games require Galaxy for multiplayer. Which connects via the GOG account to a proprietary server. That is not compatible with 'DRM-free', because it has the same drawbacks that DRM-ed software has. If the proprietary server is down, it's not possible to play the game any more.
So, please GOG, return to your principles and give us the option to set up private servers on which to run Galaxy based multiplayer games. Without having to connect to our GOG accounts, but with the option to make player accounts on that private servers. Preferably with a LAN option, so that we can play those multiplayer games without internet connection in a LAN, with one of the computers in the LAN acting as server.
