Add Mac OS X versions of games completed
PowerPC Mac would also be appreciated :)
Wasn't Wizardry 8 released for Mac OSX? I'd like to be able to play it on my own Mac.
There are a lot of Telltale games available for Mac on their website. Gog.com offers them exclusively for Windows. Why is that? I've tried to circumvent the problem by linking my Gog.com account with Telltale, but they only offer that feature for Steam accounts. Looks like I'll need to fire up the VM if I want to play them. Pity.

Arcanum for mac would indeed be a great idea! Also Ubisoft games like Might and Magic / Heroes, please! <3
Thief 1 & 2 please!
It's hard to see this wish as completed, as there are games on GoG which originally support Mac/OS X, but GoG does not provide their OS X binaries. For instance, "Tales of Monkey Island ", "Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space", "Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse" and "The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav".
Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2 on Mac please. :)
carmageddon would be awesome
There's a Race Driver: GRID version for Mac (which includes the DLCs that are not present in the Windows version), it'd be great to have it here.
Raptor call of the shadows and the Blood series would be awesome on MAC. As well as shogo mobile armour division. I also agree with thief.
thank you guys! I don't know if it is possible, but if so, a mac version of Arcanum would be super sweet!
PLEASE.... Age Of Wonders II and Jagged Alliance II.
Please add the Mac version of The Last Express
Please add the D&D game series (neverwinter, baldurs gate, icewind dale, torment) to MAC!!!
Please add a Mac version of The Longest Journey and Dreamfall.
Thief / Thief Gold and Thief 2 on Mac. There's an old OSX wrapper floating around on the interwebs so it's doable, but it'd be nice to be able to buy legit versions of these classics for Mac.
total anihilation needs to be mac again!!!
Baldurs Gate series was originally released for mac as well as PC, you should really add the Mac version as well :)
for example trine and torchlight both have mac versions on many other sites and not here. I ask because they are currently on sale and would like to know if I should buy them
so does completed mean that all games on gog that nhave mac versions will attempt to have mac versions?
I too would like to see additional games that are currently on GOG to have Mac OS X combatible versions. For me that would include all Origin games to be available. I loved Origin (early EA) games growing up.
Thank you so much for doing this! Is there a wish list for Mac versions? I Would love to see Thief I & II as a Mac version.
Thanks, I love not having to fumble with WineSkin for every game myself. I just hope this wish is both completed and in progress, as I am hoping for even more great games that work on the Mac.
Thank you very much for this. Hopefully Ultima VII will also be available for Mac as well.
Thanks for this achievement. First Steam, now you guys. Hopefully, with the spread of gaming on Mac eventually better and (in terms of performance) more optimized Mac versions of games will be developed in the future.
Neverwinter Nights for Mac, with expansion :) I'd buy same day
Thanks to this I'm here right now. Keep adding mac games!! Thanks a lot
I suppose this request is in progress :).
Thank you, this is the best news I've had for a long time!
Been waiting for this for a while now. Thanks so much! I only have Mac and Linux comps, so this is fantastic. Can't wait to get even more Good Old Games available to me!
Well done! Long time customer, but always been a mac guy. Looking forward to more games, especially the D&D titles that are available for windows. Thanks!
Thank you very much for adding mac support! Looking forward to which games are going to become available cross-platform.
Thank you
Best idea? Best idea. Thank you very much for the Mac love.
Thanks for adding the Mac versions. Is it possible to get King's Quest for Mac?
Oh wow.. I recently switched over to Macs (for good!) and I had just assumed GOG would have Mac versions because they seem to use DOSBox and it's always been available for OS X! Then again, I wonder if playing in Windows is supposed to be part of the whole antique nostalgia :P
As much as I love GOG. I hate the lack of mac support. I can use wrappers but it's a lot of work. I would have bought 10x more if there were any.
The biggest issue here would be that most of us Mac users have intel based macs and most of these games would have been made when Apple was using powerpc based architecture. Ever since Snow Leopard I believe that PowerPC compatibility has been removed.
This is the only niggle I have when evaluating Steam vs. GOG. For games shared by both distributors, GOG wins outright on extra content and sharing the DRM-free love, but falls short on the PC/Mac dual-play. Even if there's no synchronisation of save games, I'd like to see Mac binaries made available.
I completely agree with this. The worst part is that your parent company's games (cd projekt red) that have osx versions (specifically the witcher 1 and 2) don't have those version available on gog.comSo I have to purchase the games on steam if I want to play them on osx. Since boxed copies can only be registered on gog and not on steam I can't get osx copies of these games via a boxed copy. Completely ridiculous that you are driving customers to steam.
this should be possible with games that have mac versions and easy with dos games since dosbox is mac compatible.
I just bought FTL on GOG because I'd rather buy things on GOG instead of Steam. I just realized, however, that on GOG you only get the PC version of games that have both PC and mac versions everywhere else. Please allow us to buy the mac version from you so that I don't have to think twice and spend my money on Steam when I would rather spend it supporting you guys.
Spot on. Deponia looks good, and they have a Mac build ready to go. For some reason, GOG can't trick their own website to deliver a .dmg as some "Extra" that doesn't run on PCs. It's possible to not download an extra that isn't interesting, I tested it. Not downloading a video of Lord British reading from a phone book of all the characters within the Ultima universe is an incredibly satisfying experience, one that I recommend to everybody.
According to information included in CD Project RED group financial report (only in polish) this will happen this year and will be anounced at October 18th during CDPR and GOG Autumn Press Conference.
DOSBox is open-source and available on all operating systems. This shouldn't be impossible..
Agreed: being unable to play my Games under Mac OS X, where a Mac version is indeed available outside GOG (and/or a simple "wrapper" is possible, like for DOS Games on Steam) it's a PITA.
obviously didn't mean ones that are always windows only, just that when 2 versions work out or when you had to package it in an emulator anyway may as well do both basically.....
I mean old dos games that you already had to modify to make run in windows could just as easily have a naked dosbox form as an extra or some way to purchase wrapped in mac supported boxer too/instead.
I don't see why you can't do Mac and Linux wrappers for DOS titles at the very least. The Humble Bundle and Desura support all three major platforms, and Steam is soon to support Linux as well.
