If I may, I'm in for Metro Franchise Bundle. This is a poem my uncle D. Glukhovsky popularized to the people in 9 years. It's called Without a ticket to ride.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀In the depths of the Moscow Metro's gloom,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀No ticket and no faction, my path consumed.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Lost in the tunnels, no destinations clear,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀A train route to the gods, I cannot steer.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The traveling salesman problem, my burden to bear,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Connections lost, in this maze of despair.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Alan the 'Moon' hold the key in your hand,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀A wild card to guide me through this barren land.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Artyom, brave soul, await my return,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The message must be delivered, the flames must burn.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Through shadows and dangers, I'll press on with might,
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀For in this Metro's depths, I'll bring forth the light.
Thank you for the raffle. My choices are storytelling and A Story About My Uncle.

From page to pixel, a tale take flight,
Transformed by code, a digital delight.
Quests and challenges, a world to explore,
Interactivity, forevermore.

Immersed in wonder, the player role,
Shaping the story, taking control.
Battles to win, puzzles to solve,
A storytale essence, now evolved.
Thank you I'm in for Yakuza: Like A Dragon Hero Edition

The uncle,
the one who can spoil his grandchildren, and sees them happier
the one who cuddles his grandchildren, and supports them with a big smile
he who lives independently, and without limits
one day you see him, the next you admire him.
Im not in, but ChatGPT wrote:

In the glow of the morning's light, he reads,
Words tumbling like leaves in the wind.
Today's news sprawls across the printed spread,
A world in chaos, yet his calm never bends.

Coffee steams, a faithful, warming friend,
As headlines scream of distant woes and fears.
He murmurs softly, pondering the trends,
Finding peace amid the noise that nears.

His glasses perch, a gate between two spheres—
The quiet room, the clamor far outside.
He turns the page, the day's fate still unclear,
Yet in his chair, he takes it all in stride.

He ponders politics, the market's slide,
A sigh for those caught in the storm's wild sway.
His thoughts, like rivers, flow deep and wide,
Yet he remains the rock amidst the spray.

The world spins fast, but here he'll always stay,
An anchor in the family's shifting sand.
Through ups and downs, his laughter finds a way,
With wisdom tucked in every gentle hand.

An uncle with a heart so vast and grand,
Today's news fades beneath his knowing smile.
He finds the joy where others might disband,
Teaching us to pause and rest awhile.
Not in, but I wanted to chime in to say what a lovely giveaway, Random_Coffee! Very generous of you. :)

I've never composed poetry, I think. Neither have any of my dead uncles. Not sure if I'd be any good at it. I'll spare you all by keeping my poem short...

Ding! goes the timer on that very hot oven
I gawk through its window at the almondy dozen
With mitts on I reach inside for the baking sheet
The scent of Amaretto biscuits is such a great treat
I wait for my golden loot to cool down to the touch
While I take a swig of that almond liqueur, but not much
As a poet, I may rank amongst the baddest of rookies
Please, no one tell PaterAlf, I've eaten all of his cookies!

Good luck to all participants! I had fun reading your entries! :)

I reached the top of the mountain, I can see everything
summer is under me, winter is already tired
so much needed to get there
but on the way your love got lost in a dream

Now I have sleepless nights and days
friends uninvited by your side
and everything revolves around the circle of love
now I need you, where are you, come to me

After everything, after many years
I need you to give me your love
only you can save me
so that I don't die because I don't have love!

Thank you I'm in for Yakuza
My uncle liked to make limericks

Sometimes I wish I were my cat
Just sitting around getting fat
Then I saw him lick his rear
but still I didn't fear

as I could already do that.

I never said they were good limericks.

I would like to enter for Metro Franchise Bundle, though I do have Last Light Redux.

Alright, time to pick the winners. Lots of great contributions here, and I had a lot of fun reading through them. Nice mix of original and "sampled" here!
