Sorry if this has been asked. Google only turns up some strange results which mean absolutely nothing ;).

So - will it come to GoG? I don't even mind when, but IF, even if it means in years.

Sadly I could not contact WB directly as they can only be contacted for press and jobs :( or I would've asked them.

Can anyone give insight?
No.
WB is very strict on their DRM, often using Denuvo anti-tamper and such. So they won't sell DRM-free when even their steam versions have plenty of other shit tacked on.

Better question, why would you want it? Interplay's LOTR games from the early 90's were a million times more loyal to the source material than that abomination.
Some WB Games have been on GoG ever since the announcement. So that would be possible, if not now.

I love Monolith's games, so I want to play them. This one is in a LOTR skin, I don't care.

I have played the game at a friend and thought it was pretty good. Certainly not the best game of all time but it is fun nonetheless. Don't get me wrong I love the source material too, but I don't see it as religion. Consider the game as one which plays on Middle Earth but does not have anything to do with the events in the book.

Having said that, I would also greatly enjoy getting the Battle for Middle Earth games and The Return of the King here on GOG.

Have you voted for it on the Wishlist?

I own every one of the books and read them frequently. However this game is not based on the books, it is based on the films. You are clearly not as smart as you think you are. *oh block button, hurry up already*

And? There's nothing in the books or the films which says that a half-man, half-wraith can exist. It's made-up "edgy" fanfiction.

Nothing official, as GOG and their big partners rarely comment on possible releases beforehands. Personally, I would give an estimate of at least 1-2 more years, depending on whether Warner Bros decides to release more of their stuff here. So far, their newest game here is Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7, a 4-years old game. So far, no Batman, no War in the North and no Mortal Kombat (2011) and before any of those are released here (especially War in the North), I doubt Shadows of Mordor will be coming.

Have you played the game? It's actually pretty good. And don't be so bitchy about books or your intelligence level. You may find yourself at a loss.

The game could be the greatest in the world, I wouldn't even be mentioning it if it used it's own fantasy universe instead of crapping all over Tolkien's. When did I say anything about Intelligence? I'm simply saying I find this game personally offensive.

Good LOTR games which were respectful and faithful to the source material have been made:

SoM is Hollywood-ized action trollop.
