By far my favorite hack'n slash game, full of intense and thrilling battles, and of course, a very sexy witch. I recall watching this game trailer in early 2009, and craving for a ps3 or xbox360 to play, but didn't have money to buy those console at that time, only in 2017 i had the opportunity to get my hands on bayonetta and got addicted to this game.

I remember when previews for Bayonetta first came out, I wasn't all that sold on it for some reason. But when I tried out the demo on the PS3, I was blown away by the awesome gameplay. This was one of the very few console games I've ever pre-ordered. This was also the game that made me a big Platium Games fan.

An absolute gem of a game and one of my favourites of all time, if not my favourite. Played it in every platform, wouldn't mind to play it here too if it got released. Wish we can have all the saga on PC.

Why Bayonetta Needs to Happen on GOG Bayonetta is a beloved action masterpiece that deserves a permanent home on GOG — a platform known for celebrating iconic, DRM-free classics and cult hits. Developed by PlatinumGames and originally released in 2009, Bayonetta redefined the character-action genre with its intense, stylish combat, over-the-top spectacle, and unforgettable protagonist. Bringing Bayonetta to GOG would serve both preservation and accessibility. Many PC gamers today want to own their games without DRM, launchers, or online checks — and GOG’s philosophy supports that freedom. It ensures Bayonetta can be enjoyed offline, preserved for future generations, and modded or customized with ease. Not only does Bayonetta feature some of the most fluid combat mechanics ever designed, but it also embraces a tone of unapologetic camp, mythological lore, and cinematic flair. The protagonist, Bayonetta herself, is a unique icon — equal parts stylish witch, action hero, and sassy legend. Her battles against angels, demons, and godlike foes are legendary, and the replay value is immense thanks to challenge modes and score-based rankings. Releasing Bayonetta on GOG would also open the door to a full trilogy on the platform — something fans would welcome with open arms. Imagine having the complete saga, DRM-free, with full controller support, soundtrack extras, and behind-the-scenes art packs as GOG goodies. Ultimately, Bayonetta on GOG isn't just a good idea — it's essential for fans of action games, preservationists, and everyone who believes games should be owned, not rented. Let’s make it happen.

Half-Life
Half-LifeDr. Gordon Freeman doesn't speak, but he's got a helluva story to tell. This first-person roller-coaster initiated a new era in the history of action games by combining engrossing gameplay, upgraded graphics, ingenious level design and a revolutionary story that may not be all that it seems, told not through cutscenes, but through the visual environment.

Twisted Metal: Black Harbor City
Twisted Metal: Black Harbor CityTwisted Metal: Black was to have a sequel titled Twisted Metal: Black - Harbor City, though it was never officially announced and the project was later scrapped. Details on the game were revealed in the PlayStation 2 port of Twisted Metal: Head-On, Twisted Metal Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition. It was originally planned the levels of Harbor City to be greatly expanded and inter-connected with one another, giving a greater feeling of a single, complete world rather than stand-alone levels. The four completed levels were included in the game as a bonus feature entitled Twisted Metal: Lost.

Twisted Metal: Black Online
Twisted Metal: Black OnlineFirst offered as a freebie in the United States with purchase of a PlayStation 2 Network Adapter for its initial release (and later included again for free as part of the Greatest Hits package for Twisted Metal: Black,) this online version of the hit car combat game features all of the cars and carnage of the original game across all 18 stages (including all full stages and mini-stages from the full game) of TM:B. The violent cinemas and story mode were excluded in this network-only version (partially to tone the ESRB rating down to a T), but the multiplayer modes for online play still include all four modes -- deathmatch, last man standing, collector, and manhunt -- and options for power relic modifiers can be turned on to twist this evil game out even more. Online play originally was limited to only 4 players (2 over 56k), and chat functionality was not included. However, via server fixes, the player count was upped to 8 online via broadband, and a chat function via USB keyboard/on-screen input was also made unlockable when a secret code is entered on the lobby screen.

Twisted Metal
Twisted MetalTwisted Metal consists of a series of arena-based battles against an increasing number of opponents in increasingly large arenas. These battles culminate in a face-off with the winner of the previous year's competition, Darkside, who drives a large armored car which fires multiple missiles at once. Players can choose one of 12 different vehicles with which to enter combat. Each vehicle has a distinct driver and special move. The controls consist of accelerator, brake, "tight turn" (essentially a handbrake) and turbo on the face buttons, with main weapons and machine gun selection and control on the shoulder buttons. Arenas are populated with weapon pickups to re-supply missile stocks, repair stations for repairing damage to your car, pedestrians, and course stewards armed with either machine guns or missile launchers.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
