along with curse of darkness and symphony of the night are not only the best games in the series but also the only missing on computer. This would be a great addition
This is, firstly, the most impactful game of my childhood with some other ps2 titles (I'm still 21 but I played it first when I was 8 or so), shaping my taste in storytelling, gameplay, music and aesthetics (Rinaldo's cabin and saving rooms gotta be the chillest places on earth). And, secondly, the game still stands today as an amazing, perfectly enjoyable 10-15 hours game. As a 3D castlevania, the concepts and methods of the 2D ones are well adapted, the graphics have aged correctly, replayability is quite fun, THE MUSIC makes you travel through dimensions... It also came with a manual that I sadly lost track of during my many movings, but it was a big one, full-color (I think) and with really interesting info about the game. Sadly, this game has never been ported to pc, nor to any next-gen console, probably because its popularity wasn't that big. But look for it, everyone that knows about the game and every Castlevania review in youtube that talks about it gives a good rating to the game. Seriously, this game is worth your time if you are minimally interested in Castlevania or in an RPG-like experience (with much more simplified mechanics, beginner friendly). It would be an inmediate buy from my part if GOG decided to give it a chance.
A Classic PS2 game that deserves to live forever! A fun take on a perfect franchise! We have a place where these titles deserver to live on forever!!! Take all my money

In the late 90s, Castlevania was doing well in 2D and stumbling in 3D with the boring Nintendo 64 games, but with the extra firepower of the PS2, the game could turn around (pardon the pun) and for that it was bold... It decided to give us the first chapter of the fight between the Belmonts and Dracula, which worked out very well! Lament of Innocence is a fan favorite of the series! The story, the character design by Ayami Kojima, the game design by Koji Igarashi's team and the unforgettable music by maestra Michiru Yamane make this game an unforgettable experience and, along with Curse of Darkness, it is still waiting to come to PC! Come on Konami, bring us another collection too!!!
This game as well as Curse of Darkness helped define my PS2 gaming experiences back when I still had a PS2 over 20 years ago. Both games had an incredible soundtrack and the gameplay was awesome. I had beat Lament of Innocence but never finished Curse of Darkness. I would love to have the chance to roll through CV: LOE again.

Resident Evil Code: Veronica
Resident Evil Code: VeronicaResident Evil Code: Veronica is the fourth video game in Capcom's Resident Evil survival horror series. The game continues the survival horror gameplay of its predecessors: the protagonist explores the surroundings, fighting monsters and solving puzzles. However, it is the first game in the series to do away with pre-rendered backgrounds using a fully polygonal 3D engine instead, which allows for features such as real-time lighting and camera movement. Still, such movements are only used sparingly, and the use of perspective is mostly unchanged from earlier installments: the camera automatically switches to different static angles showing protagonists, monsters and rooms from different spooky viewpoints.

Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy VIIIFinal Fantasy VIII is the eighth main installment in the Final Fantasy series. The gameplay makes a departure from many series standards. While it still uses the Active Time Battle system, it deviates from the series' traditional means of boosting a character's power via leveling, although levels are not completely abandoned as they were in Final Fantasy II. In addition, it does not have a Magic Point-based system for spell-casting. Instead, magic is collected, drawn, and created from items, and is used to power up the characters via the junction system.

Chrono Cross
Chrono CrossCHRONO CROSS, the sequel to the SNES favorite CHRONO TRIGGER, is one of the most ambitious role-playing games ever made. There are over 40 playable characters, each with their back-story, special moves, abilities, and weapons. The story spans two discs and follows the story of Serge, a young man who is able to cross dimensions. Suddenly he is pulled between worlds, trying to figure out his own past at the same time. The graphics are bright and beautiful, utilizing the PlayStation's capabilities to the fullest. The polygonal character models are huge and detailed, and the pre-rendered backgrounds are immaculately detailed. The music is composed and arranged by Yasunori Mitsuda, and features very realistic-sounding synthesizers. The battle system revolves around Elements, which are used to grant magical powers, as well as to summon huge monsters. For anyone that wanted to see the story of CHRONO TRIGGER continue, this is your chance.

Blue Dragon
Blue Dragon"Hironobu Sakaguchi, the Father of the Final Fantasy series, and Artoon present the world of Blue Dragon on Xbox 360. Featuring the character design of Akira Toriyama, the Father of "Dragon Ball Z", and music by Nobuo Uematsu, the composer for Final Fantasy, Blue Dragon is an epic role-playing game (RPG) centered on five youngsters who possess miraculous strength and magical power to control shadow creatures that mirror the actions of their masters." Blue Dragon follows the story of five friends (Shu, Jiro, Kluke, Zola, and Marumaro) as they travel across the world to confront Nene, the evil ruler of the Grand Kingdom. The setting inspired separate anime and manga adaptations, although these follow the story to different degrees and feature a different cast of characters. The game follows a traditional role-playing design, based around exploration and turn-based combat. The gameplay of Blue Dragon uses turn-based gameplay elements seen in older Japanese role-playing video games. The game world contains two major types of areas: towns, in which the player can rest and purchase items, and dungeon-like areas, with numerous foes to be defeated.
