It is the third game in the Fire Emblem series and was released in Japan on January 21, 1994. It was the first Fire Emblem title for the Nintendo Super Famicom and the first twenty-four-megabit cartridge for the system. The game is divided into two distinct parts, or "books". My first classic Fire emblem game. Truly a great place to start. Seeing Marth and hearing the recruitment theme that I heard the remix of so many times in smash bros is truly awe inspiring. What I don't understand is why does Navarre get to be in all the spin-offs but Ogma gets put by the wayside. Ogma is better than Navarre in every conceivable way truly baffling. I miss the MVPs Catria and Palla true goats in the playthrough. During the final 3 maps is the true test of endurance and skill. Killing Medues with the true GOAT of the game Gordin is truly liberating experience to see that amazing archer get the final blow.
Not too familiar with many of the old Fire Emblem game, only ones one Gameboy Advance and Nintendo 3DS. Be nice to have this and other games more available AND translated to English and maybe other languages. A whole collection would be nice, maybe slightly updated graphics and the option to not have to worry about permanent death and change difficulty.
Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme LegendsDynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends is a stand-alone expansion to Dynasty Warriors 3. In both games, you take control of a military general in ancient China, each with their own unique abilities and weapons.
The gameplay is simple: you destroy hoards of differently ranked enemies on an open battlefield. Your objective in most missions is to defeat one or more enemy generals. Each character you choose has a different storyline (this story mode is referred to as "Musou Mode"), with seven battles progressing the story along. Battles get harder as you move along in the story. There is also a free mode, which allows you to play any level that you have unlocked with any general that you have unlocked (you start the game with three generals from three different dynasties).
The difference between Xtreme Legends and the original Dynasty Warriors 3 is that in Xtreme Legends, the Musou Mode only features seven unaligned generals that you couldn't play as outside of Free Mode. There are also challenge modes in Xtreme Legends not featured in the original. And there is a more advanced bodyguard system allowing you to name them, customize their advancement, and choose from more weapons you unlock as you play through the game.Action Historical
