An older game that was an attempt of something of an Orcs Must Die or other tower defense game that also allowed you to take the field. Granted given the age this is a little rough but with friends this certainly is still quite a fun time. As of right now there is a fan discord running weekly games, and even pumping out some mods for this title but official support to handle lingering issues with the game due to it's age would be ideal. The world was also fairly interesting even if much of the story needed further fleshing out when it came to the first game. Hard to track down who even owns the game anymore but I'd very much like to see a revival if not the series being picked up again wholesale given the themes, and the darker themes in this tower defense. Not often you get to be morally grey, or leaning more towards the black depending on just how desperate you get in game.
This game was so much fun! I remember playing the demo version on a (if I recall) Game Informer Pro Demo Disk that they would send out. I loved the art style, the lore, and the gameplay. At the time, my buddy and I would take turns playing Spiral, the demo level, on his computer. We tried to keep upping the difficulty and see how hard we could make it (we failed miserably on Brute LOL). Years later, I remembered the game and saw it got a Steam release so I picked it up and remember playing some matches online. but then died before I could really enjoy the game online. Every weekend, me and the guys that still play on Steam get together and play! Feel free to check the Steam guides to find our IG Warlord Discord server!

Wolfenstein
WolfensteinWolfenstein is the direct sequel to Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Spear of Destiny/Wolfenstein RPG. It featured a "re-imagined" disguised dark-haired B.J. Blazkowicz, retaining the unshaven look seen in Return to Castle Wolfenstein and dressed in civilian clothes rather than his usual military uniform. The game mainly consists of the player shooting his way through hordes of different types of Nazis, ranging from normal soldier to ninjas. To deal with the large amount of enemies, the player has access to many typical WWII-weapons like the German MP40 or K98 rifle. In addition, during the course of the game he finds the medallion and learns four powers. While at first entering the Veil only allows him so see enemies more clearly and use strange flying creatures as bombs, he is later able to slow down time, surround himself with a protective shield or make himself stronger. However, the medallion's powers drain its energy, which needs to be refilled at power-spots that are nearly invisible in the real world.

Dune II: The Building of a Dynasty
Dune II: The Building of a DynastyDune II is often considered the first mainstream modern real-time strategy game and established many conventions of the genre. Even though set in Frank Herbert's famous Dune universe, the game is only loosely connected to the plot of any of the books or the films based from them. Controlling either of the three Houses, the player must fight a number of battles against the other Houses. In the early levels, the goal is simply to earn a certain number of credits, while in the later missions, all enemies must be destroyed. The single resource in the game is the Spice, which must be collected by harvesters. The spice is converted to credits in a refinery, which are then spent to construct additional buildings and units. There are two terrain types: buildings can only be constructed on stone, while the Spice is only found on sand. However, units moving on sand attract the large sandworms of Dune, who are virtually indestructible and can swallow even large units whole. As levels progress, new and more advanced buildings and units are made available, including structures like a radar station, a repair facility or defense turrets and, for units, various ground troops, light vehicles and tanks. Each House can construct one unique special unit, and, after building a palace improvement, can unleash a unique palace effect.
