Lego should be making more games like this. This was when Lego media wasn't so copy and paste; A very experimental era, and this game is the epitome of that. It's not perfect but it's dear to my heart.

The somehow lesser known sequel to the legendary Lego Island. Did a lot of things very differently and while i wasn't a fan of all the changes I still had a very good time with it - Except for the fishing part which still frustrates me to this day. But i would go through it again if the game ever gets a re-release.
I played LEGO ISLAND 2 to death (literally the disc broke) and it was probably this game that sparked my love for the medium. I still sometimes see the spinning pizza/CD in my sleep. Would give anything to see this game on GOG.

I played this back when I was in primary school. I think I never finished it, but I would love to roam the island once more and relive some childhood memories. Seeing the screenshots makes me nostalgic already.

Still have memories of back in my childhood visiting the Lego theme park and seeing this in their little game demo room and demanding it from my parents. A great game dripping with the personality Lego is known for. Would be a treasure to bring back to the world

Lego had its own identity back with these games. I'll be honest, I didn't play as much of this one as the first game. But it does have some fond memories. Should be preserved for the next generation
Me lembro de ficar horas jogando esse jogo, muito lugares, desafios ao ficar explorando a ilha desse jogo, sempre com a companhia de um amigo. Otima lembranças de depois da escola.

This was my favorite pc game as a kid. Played it for hours on a win98 that took almost 40 minutes to load it, and i had manually flick the fan to start it every hour, to keep it from overheating and make me do the 40 minute loading again, as it didnt have enough power to start the fan itself. Playing this game was so fun to me that it was worth going through all that to play every time (Then i tried the game on the vista my family bought and it took 2 minutes.)
Even though basic by modern standards it was such a charming and fun game at the time! A big part of my childhood and I wish more Lego games had as much whimsy and creativity as this one did.
Those games also need your vote!

Fantasia
FantasiaIn the single-player game, the player controls Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice through various side-scrolling levels in an attempt to collect musical notes that somehow went missing whilst he was asleep. Each of the four levels were based on amalgamations of the segments of Fantasia, each one around the elements: water (The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Dance of the Reed Flutes and Arabian Dance), earth (The Rite of Spring), air (Russian Dance, Pastoral Symphony and Dance of the Hours) and fire (Night on Bald Mountain, Toccata and Fugue in D Minor). The player defeats various enemies by jumping on them or by collecting magical bubbles that could be used to shoot at enemies as projectiles. In each level, the player collects a certain number of hidden magical notes in order for the song to play once again.

Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht
Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur MachtXenosaga: Episode I - Der Wille zur Macht, the first chapter of a trilogy, is a Japanese-style sci-fi role-playing game, sharing many common themes and gameplay elements with Xenogears. The battle system is not unlike the one used in Xenogears (combo attacks, AP and EP gauges, etc.), but random encounters are eliminated. Instead, the enemies are now visible and battles can be avoided. During combat the few upcoming ally and enemy turns are shown onscreen, allowing the player to make strategic decisions based on who will act next. A rolling slot moves with each turn as well, conferring a bonus such as added damage or bonus XP for any action on that turn. If the enemy would be in position to take an advantage then the player can expend a character's "boost" gauge to cut in and act next, although enemies can boost as well, and enemy boosts always over-ride player boosts. Each character has a unique tree of Ether spells they can learn by spending Ether points earned in battle, with lower spells requiring spells above them to be purchased first. After a spell is purchased, so long is it does not require a unique talent of that character, the spell can also be purchased and learned by any other character that can afford double its normal cost. The Anti-Gnosis Weapon Systems can be equipped with different weapons and accessories and can be used in combat provided that a character has enough AP on that turn to board their AGWS.
