Story:Lode Runner: The Legend Returns is a 1994 remake to the classic Lode Runner video game. The game takes place in a single frame with many different elements such as ground, ladders, treasure, items, and villains. The goal is to collect all the treasure, avoid touching any of the monks, and reach the exit. A level editor is included with the game, allowing several levels to constitute a single group of levels, as well as the ability to switch between different tile sets. The editor can choose to set the level in night or day, as well as change the background music regardless of the tile set.Show more

I was hoping someone added this. There's a fan remake I have, it's the exact same game. But I'd love to get the real thing. Played so much, built so many terrible maps, love it.

In elementary school, I played this game with friends on the Compaq Presario PCs in the computer lab. We had to share keyboards to play multiplayer! The graphics still hold up, and it's still plenty of fun. Like @Osty, I built a ton of awful maps and had a blast playing it.

This game is so simple and yet so complex!Everything about this game is perfectly done. The soundtrack for every world fits the atmosphere perfectly and really pulls you in.The sound effects for picking up gold or swinging a pick axe or being mauled by a mad monk all illustrate exaclty what you'd expect. Its a two player game so that makes it extra fun to journey through different worlds with a buddy, and when your done with the fantastic base game you can make your own! This game comes with a full map editior,so you can make your own crazy campaigns as well!
For me, this is the best Lode Runner experience. Really enjoyable and the graphics still holds. I wish someone brought this back because this one is a classic. ;)

It's not very logical that both The Legend Returns and Mad Monks Revenge are in the GOG Dreamlist, as they are the same game. Mad Monks revenge is an enhanced version of Lode Runner: The Legend Returns, adding multiplayer support and cooperative puzzle packs. I love this game, especially its remake.

My brother and I spent hours and hours running this and it was different because you could really do much to the enemies. Great cooperative puzzle game. Would love to run it again. I put into a DVD rom once and it spun so fast it didn't see the disk. How fast technology changes.

Body Harvest
Body HarvestThe year is 2016. Humanity has been reduced to a few survivors inhabiting the orbital space station Omega. Over the course of the history, aliens visited the Earth every twenty-five years, "harvesting" humans as an organic material. Eventually, they launch an assault on the last remnants of the human race. But Adam Drake, a genetically engineered soldier, comes into possession of a time-traveling device. He uses it to travel to the time periods of human history when aliens performed their deadly attacks. The fate of humanity is in his hands. Body Harvest is an action and driving game with a mission-based structure. The protagonist travels to various locations and eras (e.g. Greece during World War II, Siberia in the 1990s, etc.) with the goal of stopping alien invasions. Missions can be accessed by traveling to specified areas on the map. Adam can move on foot and use his weapons to kill aliens; however, vehicles usually prove to be a more reliable way of tackling most missions. Adam can use most of his weapons while in a vehicle; in addition, some vehicles are outfitted with their own weapons.

Bucky O'Hare
Bucky O'HareThis video game is based on the cartoon television series Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars under license from Hasbro, Inc. While it is generally classified as a scrolling fighting game, utilizing a Final Fight-esque landscape, the player's character is also armed with a laser gun, adding in elements of a scrolling shooter. However, if the character is extremely close to an enemy, he will throw out his fists to attack - a precursor to the characters featured in Metal Slug, who use knives in close combat. Much like the cartoon, Bucky O'Hare features colorful animation, and voice actors from the series were hired to participate in the game's cut scenes. The player chooses from five protagonists: Bucky O'Hare, the heroic rabbit captain of the space ship Righteous Indignation; Jenny, an "Aldebaran cat" and telepath; Dead-Eye Duck, a four-armed mallard; Willy, a kid from earth that replaced their engineer, and Blinky, a one-eyed android. As in the television series, the characters must stop the Toad Empire from invading extraterrestrial planets and enslaving their peoples; to do so they must shoot their way through an army of brainwashed toads to destroy their evil leader, a computer program known as "Komplex" and release the "Interplanetary Life Force." The enemies, among them Al Negator, Toadborg, Total Terror Toad, a "Cyborg Spider", the various varieties of Toad Storm Troopers, the Toads' Air Marshall, and "Komplex-2-Go" who featured in the comic book and cartoon series continuities.
