Amazing mix of strategy, combat, exploration in a single package topped with incredible soundtrack. Truly a gem sadly forgotten. I still try to play it once every two years.

This game is not flawless by any means, but it had great atmosphere with its blend of artwork and soundtrack. I play it every couple of years and a stable version at GOG would be so great.

Played this game for hundreds of hours! Amazing atmosphere and great soundtrack too. I used to sneak in the living room at night to play so my parents ended up using the keyboard lock feature on my 486 dx2 66mhz computer to stop me. Little did they know I had a spare key, bwahahaha!

Truly a hidden gem by a small hungarian dev team. Playing it was very immersive. Sitting alone or with your advisors and making big decisions. Thick intense atmosphere, also thanks to the very well done graphics/artwork (oldschool, before 3D modelling and rendering was easy and overused for everything). Music is also alright. Loved playing it and definitely a game worth preserving, even though the gameplay had some quirks and even few bugs, and the best thing would be if GOG managed to obtain the source code too, so we could fix them.

Powracam do niej regularnie każdego roku.

A really great strategic exploration game with building and fighting elements. I made it work via DOSBox, but would like to see it on GOG. The pixel graphics are beautiful and the soundtrack is just great. For about 30 years I have played the game regularly and I am very happy to see other people loving and recomending this fantastic game. Yes, there is Imperium Galactica on GOG, but Reunion is the original.

I was too young to truly appreciate this when I played it all those years ago. I remember the automated space battles and the different generals you could hire, oh and the planet building... My friends and I used to share games and do challenges back in those days. We did civ, wing commander, star control (and star control 2), battle isle 2, etc.... We each had a week to complete the game before they got rotated around. Among others this was one of the ones I remember the most. I've always wanted to revisit it to see if I could actually make better sense of it these days and maybe even complete it! It probably won't be as good as I remember, but I'd still buy it to find out! XD

Just i loving this game. Old but gold, the story is simply awesome and the gameplay is addictive. Is sad that it's forgotten and deserves a second chance to shine here, in Gog.

I remember that I had to format my 40 MB drive to fit this game on it. And after installing I realized that I had forgotten to back-up my mouse driver. And since it was late in the evening i couldn't go to my friend for help. So I plugged in my 2400bps modem and downloaded the driver from some BBS. When I finally launched the game I was in awe of the graphics and music, in fact I still love them to this day. I know the game has its' flaws (you can easily get stuck and loose if you don't make the right decisions at the right moments) but I still rate it as one of the best games I've ever played. I am ashamed to admit that I played a pirated version, I wish I could own a legal copy.

ParaWorld
ParaWorldThe game-concept is similar to "Age of Empires", which is a real-time strategy game. ParaWorld features food, wood, and stone as resources. Food can be picked from bushes, hunted from animals, fished from the sea, or farmed. Stone is located in limited deposits, and wood, cut from trees, is generally scattered throughout a map. Battles can occur on both land and sea. The story takes place in a parallel dimension, where prehistoric life thrives alongside diverse human civilizations that are not technologically advanced. As a result, dinosaurs take the place of traditional wildlife and livestock, though some of the dinosaurs in-game are highly stylized and not necessarily scientifically accurate. Wild-living dinosaurs can be hunted for food, though some are of dangerous and aggressive species and will attack any player unit that wanders too close. Other prehistoric creatures make an appearance as well, for example woolly mammoths are used where other games might feature elephants. Players advance through epochs in order to unlock new technologies and upgrades.

Monster Hunter Freedom
Monster Hunter FreedomThe game revolves around the player completing quests and gathering materials to upgrade their equipment in order to advance. The more rare the items and equipment, the stronger the main physical aspects of the character will be. Unlike other hack 'n' slash games, this game requires planning and skill in order to overcome large monsters instead of brute force. There are many weapons which the hunter can use to bring down the monsters, these are sword and shield, great sword, dual swords, hammer, lance, bowgun and the heavy bowgun. Each requires a variety of items to create which are acquired by completing quests, and collecting the spoils carved from monsters or found on the ground.

Monster Hunter
Monster HunterMonster Hunter is an online action-hunting game by CAPCOM for the PlayStation 2 released on March 11th, 2004 in Japan, and September 21st, 2004 in North America. The game is a fantasy hunting simulator filled with many deadly monsters. Like actual hunting, successfully killing or capturing the monsters requires significant strategy, skill and involved resource management. While initially considered a commercial failure, Monster Hunter would go on to become one of CAPCOM's highest selling franchises. Despite featuring an offline mode, Monster Hunter was primarily an online game. The official servers were shut down on December 31, 2007 in North America and Europe, and July 1, 2011 in Japan. This means that it is now impossible to play online on official CAPCOM servers. Despite this, the game still features a small active community on private servers.
