One of the best, if not The Best, Sherlock Holmes of all time. A great point and click adventure of the greatest detective of all time. I'm still angry that the game crashed back in the day and could never get to the ending, so I hope GOG does it's magic and allows me to finally finish it.

Near the end of the game, it crashed on my PC in 1997. I was 14 years old and never got to finish it myself. It was one of my favorite games back in those days.

I remember being 8 years old, and my uncle, who died a few years after, gifted me this awesome game. This game brings back many memories of fantastic afternoons playing with the family. Please, bring it back!

One of the best adventures during the late gold age of adventure games and THE best Sherlock games of all time. Any Sherlock game before and after Rose Tattoo were never even close to this game.

This is most likely the best Holmes game ever made. Saddly enough, it is impossible to play to it now. Many of the games you recover are popular enough among people in their late 20s, early 30s. But this one is different: not many people under 35 today had the chance to play it, they missed it. It was a central game for the first generation of gamers. And you are the only ones who can save it !
Those games also need your vote!

Last Armageddon
Last ArmageddonThe humans who breathed the toxin-filled air on the Earth's surface became one with the Earth and kept dissolving. The history of humanity ended and dominion of the planet returned to the demons. These mutant creatures did not depend on oxygen to survive. Therefore, they were able to breathe the air and use the land.Meanwhile, an army of robots wage World War IV against the demons in order to conquer what is now known as Makai - the Demon World. These robots came to the planet on a wave of energy that created an explosion that turned the world into a wasteland. Much later in the game, concurrent themes including Adolf Hitler, war, creating a perfect race of people, and the destruction of humanity in the year 1999 are revealed to the player inside one of the robot's main bases. Can the demons gain dominion on the humans' old planet or will robots enforce impose a millennium of logic and dictatorial force throughout Makai? Playing as the robots is not an option that is open to the player. Therefore, the player must take advantage of his or her mutant army and crush the robot invaders. This game builds on the fear of robot domination of the world that has been featured greatly in movies from The Terminator to Terminator Salvation. The gameplay is similar to Final Fantasy as the turn-based fights are viewed from a third-person perspective.

Arazok's Tomb
Arazok's TombYou are an ace reporter with the Herald Tribune and investigator into the bizarre. You've just stumbled onto a story about an underground connection that links the magic of the past with the mystery of the future. An ancient city rebuilt into a futuristic and sinister land of the supernatural, diabolical, and deadly! So, it's off to the Welsh countryside and a charming bit of ancient history, a hill bearing the name Caer Arazok. You recall the stories of great buried monoliths that rival Stonehenge. And a quote sticks naggingly in the back of your mind... "The nethermost caverns are not for the fathoming of eyes that see, for their marvels are strange and terrific. Curse the ground where dead thoughts live... and evil the mind that is held by no head..."

Mixed-Up Mother Goose
Mixed-Up Mother GooseThis is an updated version of Roberta Williams' Mixed-Up Mother Goose. This version utilizes Sierra's SCI game interpreter and features enhanced graphics and sound. The gameplay remains the same as the previous version; all of the nursery rhymes in Mother Goose Land have become mixed up! Your goal is to set things straight by locating missing items for each of the fairy tale characters in the land. When wandering around the land you can talk to the different characters (each from a different nursery rhyme) to find out what item it is they need; for example, Little Bo Peep is looking for her sheep and Jack Be Nimble lost his candle stick. The items are scattered about the land, and when you locate one pick it up and return it to the appropriate character. When successful, the complete nursery rhyme will play with the lyrics appearing on screen. You can only carry one item at a time, so you may need to remember where you spotted or dropped items not being carried! Also, each time the game is played objects will be in a new location. Included with the game is a map of Mother Goose Land which may help you locate the different fairy tale characters.

The Lurking Horror
The Lurking HorrorThe Lurking Horror is an interactive fiction game released by Infocom in 1987. The game was written by Dave Lebling and inspired by the horror fiction writings of H. P. Lovecraft (including his Cthulhu Mythos). Like most of Infocom's games, it was released for several platforms simultaneously thanks to the Z-machine. The original release included versions for DOS, the Apple II, Atari ST, Atari 8-bit family and Commodore 64. Later, it was ported to the Amiga with the addition of sound effects, making it the first title with that feature. The effects would play at appropriate times in the game in an effort to intensify the horror atmosphere. This marked one of the few major additions to the Z-machine with the exception of graphics; traditionally, Infocom had eschewed such changes in favor of expanding the parser capacity and overall size of game files. It was Infocom's 26th game; Infocom rated it as "Standard" in terms of difficulty. Lurking Horror was the only horror game ever released by Infocom.
