Story:Wolfenstein RPG is a first-person shooter and role-playing video game developed by id Software and Fountainhead Entertainment, released in September 2008 for mobile phones and in May 2009 for iOS. In 2013 the game was removed from App Store.
The gameplay follows the recipe from Doom RPG as it is shown in the first person while being a turn-based role-playing game rather than a shooter and puts emphasis on the plot. Combat and movement are turn-based, allowing the player time to select their responses in combat. The player turns at 90 degree angles and moves space by space. One step or action by the player allows all other characters in the area to take one step or action themselves. The game takes advantage of its deliberately slow pace, encouraging players to take their time and check out every little corner, read the books on every bookshelf, and destroy all the furniture to see if anything is hidden within. Levels include underground passages and weapon development laboratories plus a level involving a moving vehicle.
The game also includes two mini games: the card game War as well as Chicken Kicking, where the player is awarded points for kicking a chicken into a score area.Show more

had this on an old java phone with the 2 doom games. I was a blast playing this at lunch while listening to the radio. I would really like to see this and the 2 doom games get a release on gog so future generations can play it easily
Made in the spirit of Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein RPG represents a very different direction from the modern reboot of the franchise. Instead of the "Germany won WW2" trope, this game doubled down on the weird and occult elements with a humorous twist.
What made the game unforgettable was how it approached these elements: with exploration and turn based combat. In that sense it shares some similarities with Wolf 3D: you are rewarded for exploring the world, but the world of Wolf RPG is populated by fun puzzles, books to read, and sprites overflowing with personality.
Apart from the fleshed-out world and delightful graphics, what also made Wolf RPG so fun was its surprisingly deep combat system. Combine iconic WW2 weapons with performance enhancing "syringes" in a turn-based tactical system where positioning is key. The gameplay was kept fresh with regular shake-ups that introduced new challenges while advancing the narrative.
The game had me hooked and was far more immersive than one would expect for a phone game, with its colorful and (for the time) expansive world.
I want to see this game on GOG, not just because I want to experience it again on a bigger screen, but also because I want more people to get as much joy from Wolf RPG as I did. I am certain that this game's unusual design will find new appreciation with a modern audience and that many new fans will flock to it.
This game makes an incredible transition from one genre to a completely different one. It retains the spirit of the original while creating a fresh, engaging experience. Its funny, fun and well designed in every aspect. Highly recommended!
Monster Hunter 2Monster Hunter 2 has an improved weapon tree and upgradeable armors. As in all Monster Hunter games, armor pieces can be worn to obtain skills and abilities. A new feature in Monster Hunter 2 is the use of gems. Gems add skill points to complement those added by armor and weapons. Gems are created by combining ore and/or monster parts. Gems can be attached and detached from armor and weapons that have special gem slots.
Along with the various species of monster returning from the first Monster Hunter, Monster Hunter 2 contains many new monsters, such as the metallic wind dragon Kushala Daora, the lion-headed dragon Teo Teskatoru (named Teostra in the North American and PAL versions of Monster Hunter Freedom 2) and his female counterpart Nana Teskatory (named Lunastra in the North American and PAL versions of MHF2), the primates Babakonga and Dodobrango (Congalala and Blangonga in MHF2), the bull or minotaur-like monster Rajang, and the chameleon-like dragon Oonazuchi (Chameleos in MHF2). The battle system of "Arc the Lad II" is similar to the one used in its predecessor: in battles you can move your characters on the battle field, and your proximity to the enemies plays an important role. You cause and take different amounts of damage depending on your position on the battle field.
