My searching is coming up pretty dry for a full list and description for lines for the baldur.ini. Ideally, I'm hoping that someone might direct me to somewhere that lists all ini lines for all of the IE games. I'll happily settle for the baldur.ini(s), though. Any help is greatly appreciated.

What is it you want, exactly? Everybody's baldur.ini is different. Also, you need to state which version of the game you are talking about, since there are BG1, BG2, BG1 TuTu/BGT, BG1:EE & BG2:EE.
@Hickory: Thank you for the quick reply. I have all of the above listed, but the ones I'm currently using are the EE versions. They've added some new features, such as Heart of Fury Mode, Sneak Attack, and others from IWDEE, but I'm actually looking for a full list and description of lines for the older versions. Most of them should work in the EE versions, but the full list doesn't show, by default, in any of the games or versions. Let alone descriptions for them.

That's because there's never been an official description of each line, and the older version ini files are completely different than the EE versions, so I am still not sure what you hope to achieve. For example the EE versions use a different structure:
======================
CREATE TABLE options (
section string,
name string,
value string
);
INSERT INTO options ROWS (
'Fonts', 'ko_KR', 'UNBOM',

... etc.
=======================

Whereas the older versions use a simple ini structure:
=======================
[Program Options]
SoftSrcKeyBltFast=0
SoftBltFast=0
SoftSrcKeyBlt=0
SoftBlt=0
SoftMirrorBlt=0
Translucent Shadows=1

... etc.
========================

The Enhanced editions were completely re-written, so old ini values do not correspond in most cases. You are barking up the wrong tree, unless I am misunderstanding you.
Well, I know what a number of them do from trial and error, but I was hoping that in nearly twenty years someone had a full list compiled.

A lot of them don't really need detailed descriptions and some can be set through Options, but things like Bored Timeout, Weather, Maximum Frame Rate, Path Search Nodes, and a lot of others are standards for all of the versions, I think. I just want a full list of what is available in the old versions.

A lot of the lines weren't available by default, too. This is the main reason for my search. I want, at least, a list of all of them, even without descriptions. I'm willing to do the trial and error thing, but I'd be surprised that, in almost twenty years, a full list isn't available for one of the best series of games known for modding.
As I said, Bioware never published (nor do any other software publisher that I know of) the details of the game configuration ini file. The information is not even on IESDP, and if it's not there, then it's not anywhere.
Thank you for your time. That's rather odd, though, considering that the ini file is one of the easiest things to mod. Did the developers not support modding then? I thought they were the ones that published a number of mod tools, but it sounds like they didn't even have the courtesy to explain the easiest way to mod the game.

All of the Baldur's Gate modding tools were community created, most notably the weidu patcher by Wes Weimer, among others. It's not that Bioware doesn't support modding -- there would be no mods (legally) if they didn't -- it's that they have higher priorities than creating the tools. On top of that, the application configuration ini is not considered a modding tool, so why would they publish it's complete construct?

That xls table is interesting, thanks.
