I am thinking of modifying the Dragon Disciple kit slightly for when I play the Enhanced Edition of Icewind Dale (which has the same kit as the Baldur's Gate Enhanced Editions) and am wondering what you think about these tweaks as far as game balance is concerned.
Breath weapon: gains extra uses at levels 8, 13, 18, 23, 28 (total of 6 uses at level 28+)
Fire resistance: Increases to 125% at level 20 (this makes fire heal the character slightly)
At level 25: +1 AC and Constitution
At level 30: +1 AC
(Should breath damage continue to increase past 18, capping out at 12d8 at level 30? Keep in mind that, since this would be Icewind Dale, that Heart of Fury mode would be in effect, so enemies have a lot of hit points.)
Note that I am also planning on using the un-nerfed Sorcerer spell progression tweak, mainly because every other spellcaster continues to get spells per day past level 20.
I'm just wondering if there are any potential balance issues with these changes.
