later after i first played this game there was a dongeon keep config add on that let you config or alture game elements. where can i find something like that??

Which game and which version (original or EE) are you talking about?

EE Keeper (which replaced Shadow Keeper) will work with work with the Enhanced Edition for both BG 1 & 2, as well as the original/classic version of Baldur's Gate 2 (with or without Throne of Bhaal):

I got the impression the OP was talking about the config tool that comes with the original game, bgconfig.exe.

wouldn't happen to know a place a little more simplified place i can get a download. i tryed jumping thru their loops to instal both places and though the directions were suppose to be simple i couldnt get it to work. is there a baldursgate site i can go and buy it. rather than a hack? i mean hacks are cool but sometimes there complicating to work?? google doesnt seem to have any clue either and amazon doesnt have it either/
