Guys I lost my saved game for BG I was pretty far up the game CH 6 Is there a way I can reach there fast enough help me please thanks!

First thought: why did you only have one save game? That's never a good idea in RPGs: even if you're not worried about file corruption losing it (and this is a danger in even the most bugless computer game) in RPGs it's quite likely you'll do something you regret at some point and want to backtrack to before your latest save. Take this as a learning experience, and always have multiple saves in an RPG.

Now, to deal with this particular case, we'll probably need a lot more information. How did you "lose" it? Did you accidentally delete it (in which case the file may be in your computer's recycle bin)? Did the game crash and make the save unopenable/unrecognised?

Do you have an autosave/quicksave slot filled? The autosave should be from the last time you left an area, so try loading that if it's present. Then make a full save from it immediately, in case you mess up the autosave. I somehow doubt you know about the quicksave button from what you've said: for future reference, you can press Q to save the game in a quicksave slot, which saves time.

What do you mean by you lost your saved game? Even if you foolishly only kept one save game, there will still be and autosave at some stage in chapter 6. More details, please.

Hello Guys I have Mac and I was playing it on windows than I deleted the windows partition. Which had everything there is no chance for me to get it. Is there anyone who can share their saved game around ch 6 tell me a way to quickly get there when I add party members by Console the game gets crashed thank you very much. Would really appreciate this <3

Are Windows saved games compatible with Mac version? I have no idea. But there is no way to quickly get to chapter 6 from a fresh start, as in 'get there NOW'. And the problem with sharing somebody else's saved game is that it won't be yours; it will have completely different characters, including your main character. What's the point? Why not just start again? BG1 has massive replayability.

You can use a save game editor to give your characters a few levels until they reach chapter 6, so all the battles are fairly easy (and then reset it to where they were). That said, I'd say that it would be better to just start again with a new character - perhaps similar, or even the "same" character for roleplaying purposes.

Edit: Are you sure the files aren't still stored somewhere, in a mac's equivalent of the recycle bin? I'm not certain how these things work, but it's worth a look. Try to avoid saving anything else until you've checked.
