I bought BG1 here on GOG and played for a fair bit. I figured I would buy BG2 later when I finished. Then I realized I wanted to be able to play in higher resolution, and therefore got BG2 and installed all the extras and stuff. Is there a way to import not just my character, but the saves with the progress so far?

EDIT: To clarify, I have already tried copying the save folder. That works for creating a new character from save, but not to load the saves, they don't appear.

Hickory: You cannot. They are not compatible. Just one example is that all areas in BG1 are prefixed with AR, whereas all areas in TuTu are prefixed FW, and all areas in BGT have different digits than BG1 after the AR.
