Hello everyone!

I wanted to know what folks think of Dark Alliance and it's sequel. It was just a forgettable Diablo clone to me.

I'm not a console player, but top down hack 'n slash? I'll pass. I'd much rather play Baldur's Gate Reloaded on the NWN2 engine.

I loved the first one. Played it many, many times through. I picked up the 2nd one a year ago (I always waited for the price to come down but it never did!). I'm maybe 1/4 way through it. It's better in some areas, worse in others.

It's definitely a very different game. But I loved it.

I have the first one. Never did get the second one. Had fun with it, but I preferred the Champions of Norrath series for some reason. Nor certain why. But the Shadow Knights were my favorite class in the CoN games. Skeleton summoning, plague flinging death dealers, heh. You know, I've been meaning to check that one out. It should be on the resurrected NVN vault, right?

Apparently it's only available from Nexus Mods, and as I don't have a paid account the download speed is painfully slow... =(
