Is this a bug or something? I only recently found out that any thief, while wearing boots of speed, does not move fast as he should. He moves as slow as if he had other boots eqquiped, or nothing at all! How to fix this?

Which version of BG1? Vanilla? BGT/TuTu?

The Boots of Speed (or any Haste effect) will be nullified if the character is under the effect of Freedom of Movement, whether from the divine spell or the Ring of Freedom (or custom items giving the same effect).
