Are you and your "friends" going to infiltrate every topic and get them deleted?

We get it already, you are angry, you are salty, you can't get over it. Now get a life, you if someone got feelings hurt.

A Message to CDPR and angry Fans

I have preordered the game as planned this month. I have never been as hyped for a game as this time.
The delay is annoying but CDPR has my support anyway.
They knew this would hurt their sales. They took the hit nonetheless to deliver the best experience across all plattforms. Besides, the ongoing pandemics makes game developement sagnificantly harder.
I can understand that people are really annoyed about this.
CDPR has room for improvements in communicating such things.
Having holiday scheduled for a release and then hearing about the delay is annoying - but playing the game is gonna be at least as much fun in December as it would be in November.
Personally I would never plan any holiday for a game release. Knowing something about softwaredevelopement I know that such things are - to an extend - unavoidable.
To fans and heartbroken people out there I can only say: Be angry but please also be decent about it.
Those are people trying to make a great game - for us.
Hopefully the the developers working on this great game watch out for their health on the last stretch.
I look forward to explore NightCity :)

Its actually illegal. Article 10 of the EU human rights act. "Everyone has the right to freedom of expression. This right shall include freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart information and ideas without interference by public authority and regardless of frontiers". This includes the internet.

This forum is a private service, so any "freedom of speech" argument is nonsense by definition. You have no more of an inherent right to post anything here than a random hornblower has to enter your bedroom at 4 in the morning and start a practice session.

Seriously, that whole "let's make up law and claim that x is violating it" thing wasn't particularly cute when Elzie did it, and at present it's about as adorable as when the team joker makes farting noises for the fiftieth time that day because he's run entirely dry of both wit and humour.

Jeez, I think I just had a lawyergazm...
So, hypothetically, if someone kills you on his private grounds, were you'll walk in by your own volition, will it be okay? Well, not for you, obviosly, since you'll be, you know... dead, but for killer. He did it on his private property, so by your logic, it's ok.
What about rapes and maiming?

PS: what were you doing in that copro school of yours? Scrubing floors?

If any of this was possible hypothetically, then hypothetically there would be police presence at this private space, using hypothetical methods to stop your hypothetical violent criminal acts. The Code of Conduct would hypothetically include no murdering and any other violent acts. Your hypothetical police would enforce your hypothetical Code of Conduct.

With all of your hypothetical fantasies, it doesn't change the fact that The Code of Conduct here states, you cannot insult others with profanity. No one here is above the Code of Conduct. Not your freedom of speech, not my intolerance of your childish behaviors, not even hypothetically.

As I recall, the bill of rights is technically a limitation of the rights of the states. It doesn't contain positive rights for the people (meaning a gaurantee that all people have the right to be heard or that all people who want a gun must be given one) but rather rights in a negative sense (meaning that no state must prohibit people from stating their opinion).

And the legal principles regarding free speech in the EU boil down to the same thing. You have freedom of speech, in the sense that government prohibition of speech is largely not allowed, except when it is allowed (see German attitudes towards Holocaust denial, for instance), but obviously you do not suddenly gain ownership over private property that belongs to someone else, so obviously you cannot insist that some private service cannot moderate and must let you say whatever you want, whenever you want.

Also, I'm not even going to comment on your hilariously wonky example of murder on private property, which is criminal law and has nothing whatsoever to do with anything anyone is discussing. I do note your nearly fanatic desire to talk about anything other than the hysterical claim you made in the previous topic.

Private property like a house or website can have different rules than a public area. There are also limits to what those rules can be. Killing a man who thinks he can walk around my house in his muddy shoes is too far, but I can still throw his ass out.
