I'm experiencing an issue with the in-game digital clock (just below the map) and day / night cycle, where the clock is stuck on the same time no matter how long I navigate around the city in free-roam. The only way to progress through the time of day is to manually skip time in the options / character / journal menu screen.

Therefore there is no natural day / night cycle in the game anymore, unless I change the time of day manually. I'm on Xbox One X and this is a recent problem since the last two patches. I'm up to date with patches.

The clock does change when I do missions, for example I recently did the Ghost Town mission with Takemura, where you wait and meet him under the bridge and have the conversation with his friend. The clock progressed by itself to 11:00pm but has stayed on that time ever since, and I've finished that mission and done another side job since then.

Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a way to put it back to normal?

Thanks

Have you tried saving/reloading or sleeping in V's apartment? This normally fixed the "broken" game states for me.
Yes I've tried those, thought that sleeping in the apartment or doing a main mission would reset things but they don't.

Don't know what else to suggest - my time seems to be progressing outside of missions...
Usually this is down to starting a mission that fixes the clock to a specific time and not completing it, so I'd check what ongoing missions (those in which you've finished one or two of the steps) you have in your journal and try finishing a few of those. Most likely you've started a sidequest (don't think any gigs do this) but not completed it, and that's what's holding your clock.
I see. I did start the main mission where you need to see the woman in Afterlife and give her 15000 to progress the mission, but I went and did side jobs instead of continuing that mission. I'll go back to that and see if it fixes the problem. Thanks.
That hasn't worked either. I finished the Ghost Town mission with Panam and the clock is now stuck on 11:45pm and won't move from there by itself. There's no other stuff that I've only half progressed through so don't know what could have caused it. I've sent a tech support message about the issue but from the searching I've done there doesn't seem to be anyone else who has this same problem.
