What to expect from Cyberpunk 2077?

I imagine the same that can be said for all the games they've done.

1. Great world. Great Lore. Great characters with will acted voices. - this was even true in witcher 1, by far the title with the most negative issues.

2. The writing/quests will likely be great --- I think they really didn't get here until witcher 3 however. Witcher 1 was 'meh' and generally devolved into mass fighting toward the later parts of the game. It did have a fun mini card game and who can forget the 'sex cards' as our hero screwed his way to stardom? Witcher 2 has very little actual "witching' in it and nothing stands out for me there either except the missing sex cards. 3 got back to a grounded character living like he should for the world created for his adventures. Unlike a Bethseda game every quest was good to brilliant , well written and well acted.

3. Awful combat. 3 witcher games and for me the combat was horrid in all three. The 3rd was the easiest to contend with. But for me nothing killed my immersion in the world more than going into 'nintendo combat'. Even Bethseda has better. You swang. You blocked. If you got hit you fell back. if your shield got hit, you fell back. It kept you in the world, with the needed feedback. But in the witcher? Your transported into some console gamey Mortal Kombat multi button mashing hogpog nonsense that your merely observing by repeating blurred pixels that pounded you with "sorry jack. This is for the console kiddies. Not you RPG players".
I used to have hope since we're moving to guns....well...until i saw the DEMO and the enemy obsorbing bullets like a sponge.....yes you can console kill guns too...and this is how you do it.
Computer RPGs were born by being direct translations of Board games in the gendre. Combat was stat based...not 'player reflex based'. When you do the later you've become an action game. You may have RPG elements but twtich combat is NOT an RPG. It's an action game. Reflexes and twitch gaming really make the leveling and stats rather pointless. And yes you can do RPG in first person 3d or 3rd person 3d...but this isn't even close.

4. Awful GUI/inventory - They are consistant here and have never improved.

5. Good DLCs. - Because you want to come back to a good game. They deliver.

6. Boobs. Always a good thing.

I think expectations need to be more grounded here. I mean seriously...this company was one of very few that actually stuck QTE's in the game. Your burying your head in the sand if you think they can't do/ stupid awful/ because they've proven time and again they can. Unless of course you can show me a single post...from anywhere...on any gaming forum where some player posted..."Man those QTE's are great. I hope they add more!"
