I just recently started watching the Fallout TV series and remembered playing Fallout 3 a while back. GOG had Fallout 4 GOTY Edition for only 9.99 and I purchased it. I thought that was a fair price for this old game! After installing it I had no problem running the game, but could never set the resolution of my monitor. The launcher would either show no options for resolution or they would show up with incorrect choices. It just would not recognize my graphic card. In a nutshell I am running the game on a Dell Aurora with a Nvidia GTX3060 with 12GB of VRAM, 32GB of system ram, and my system has an 11th gen i7. I cannot give real specific specs right now as I am at work. When the game starts, it would run but would not use my entire monitor screen. I am using a 34" Sceptre super widescreen and my system is set at 3144x1440, which is how I want to run the game. I also want to run it in full screen, not windowed mode. After watching a few YouTube videos and asking Mr. Google for help, I got it to run properly after installing the Nvidia User Experience app and launching it from there. But after that, if I ran it direct from my desktop, it would crash. last night running it that way worked fine, so it appears it works when it feels like it! It could just be that the game is old and does not really know what to make of current hardware, or it is just buggy! I see there are a few mods for the game, but I have not tried any of them. Has anybody else out there been able to resolve the graphics problem? I see there has been a few folks that seemed to be having a similar issue with it! Can anybody help? :)

Pretty much the same problem here. RX 6800 64gb system ram. Acer 34HC5CUR - 34 monitor. Can't get mine out of 16.9 ratio Widescreen and once out of Window Mode, Resolution disappears. Doesn't seem to have "Native" as an option like Steam has.
Widescreen will be supported in next gen update, or through mods. But bethesda is known for cutting 16:9 and stretching whats left to fill the screen.
