I don't know, I'm Irish originally and €9.99 looks far more natural to me so not all euro prices are written like that...

Hahaha, yeah I guess there's no one-size-fits-all solution here. But as long as I'm able to choose the currency symbol position I'll be happy. :)

PS: And now to wait until Greasemonkey decides to update the AF script. It usually takes around 24h after you announce an update for it to be effective on my PC. Is there some manual update option that I'm missing?


PS2: Never mind, I found how to update scripts manually. :P

I think in GreaseMonkey you go into the script manager bit and right click on the script and there should be an option to find updates.
On my phone now so I can't check to be sure.

If that doesn't work you can edit the script and then force it to update (as it won't auto updated if edited locally) which can sometimes have better results.

PS: Just in case anyone has the same problem I had, here's how to force the scripts to update (on Firefox):

1a) Select the "Manage User Scripts..." option in the dropdown menu that appears when clicking the downward arrow next to the Greasemonkey button

1b) Alternatively, open a new tab, go to "about:addons" and select the "User Scripts" tab on the left column

2) Click the cogwheel button on the top right, and select "Check for Updates" in the dropdown menu that appears

Odd, I updated AF, but the changelog didn't pop up as usual. Anyone else, or is it just me?

Does it show up (correctly, with the latest date and version) when you open the options menu?

I think I have gotten it like that before. Sometimes it just happens to be when the update occurred (maybe you quickly opened and closed a Gog window and that's where the changelog opened) stops it showing.

This is a small detail so I understand if you don't want to bother with it. However, it bothers me that GOG keeps trying to force Galaxy down our necks, even in the download links for classic installers. Would it be possible to remove the near-blatant lie about it being an optional client, so only the first sentence, the fact and information based one remains?

"The above installer does not include GOG Galaxy - our optional client which makes it easy to manage your GOG library and keep your games up to date."

to

"The above installer does not include GOG Galaxy."


It's a strange planet they live on where "requires more software, more layers of bloat and more clicks" equals "easier". But maybe that's why they designed it so cumbersome to download the classic installers.

Sorry, but in general I only change things where it provides some kind of benefit or it's necessary. I'm sorry that bothers you, but it's not something I consider worth changing.
