HypersomniacLive: Elaborate on what? How such a new user managed to find all the other scripts from gog forums (I assume the retired ones included), and found them to be good? But bad bad AF gave them such a nasty virus that they have to reinstall their OS? Just a couple of days after the new chat feature was added, and one day after the related note was added to the Known Scammers GOGWiki page?
Yeah, all that ;)
I doubt he will ever be seen again though.
We will miss him so.

Well very little actually, just added some extra info to the chat box (and got rid of the stupid uppercase transform so you can tell who you are actually talking too) but it seems to have annoyed our regular scammer and his alt army.

Ah, it basically adds some extra functionality to the GOG site itself? I haven't tried any user created scripts before, or not for GOG anyway, so I don't know anything about that. So, does it display a list of known scammer accounts or anything like that?

Not yet, though it could. It's mainly to prevent the trade scammers who pretend to be someone else by stealing their avatar and using an alt with a similar name but with different capitalization or numbers instead of letters (which is hard to spot with all uppercase names)

Edit: and yes, a whole host of things like the old library covers and manual sorting and a (slightly) better search for the forums.

Well, there's an infinite combo of numbers with which bob could make a reappearance. ;-)

And don't sell yourself short - AF is fundamental to a better user experience on GOG. As BE is essential.

What hurts the most is that he's incredibly stupid (as you can see) and yet can get away* with it...


* Scamming/getting free games and no repercussions.

I am late to the party (came here through the scammer thread) and after reading this thread I really want to install that script! Where can I get it and how can I install it? I persume this is written in a seperate thread which I cannot find at the moment? Please lshow me the way to it - thank you :)
