ponczo_: Our payment system should accept a gift or prepaid card if it meets these requirements:
- support for online transactions (in other words not being limited to point-of-sale transactions, like paying at a regular shop),
- support for international transactions (we're based in Europe - WalMart and Vanilla Visa gift cards, for instance, don't support transactions outside the US and Canada).

Katzapult: I have so many of them. Is there a way to turn them into something which I could use to get games on GOG? My idea was to buy paysafecard but amazon doesn't seem to have it. I could easily buy steam gift cards, so why is there no equivalent for GOG?
Is there at least anything I can buy on amazon which enables me to get games from here?
Tallima: I don't think you can buy gift cards with Amazon cards. What i do is spend them on necessities and set aside the Amazon cards' value in envelopes for gift use.
I guess that would be the best solution. Luckily you can buy the GOG-version of Cyberpunk on Amazon too, which i didn't know yesterday. So at least for this game there was a workaround. Hope it arrives soon. :)
