fronzelneekburm: It's a mystery indeed: Why would anybody pay £3.59 for a soundtrack they could've gotten for free until fairly recently.

xyem: The principles, they fall one by one, hoo-rah. hoo-rah. (2 price points)
The principles, they fall one by one, hoo-rah, hoo-rah. (free extras)
The principles will fall one by one, (no DLC)
and even then, GOG won't be done. (Galaxy optional)
The principles, they fall one by one.. hoo-rahhhhhh. (no regional prices)
Finally, someone who can criticize gog without talking about the sales.

Breja: A better question - why do you have to own the game to buy the soundtrack? Maybe I don't like the game but like the music. Why should I have to buy the game if all I want is the soundtrack?
avatar
ZFR: If you don't want to own the game, you can always get it on Steam.
Thanks! I needed a solid laugh today.
Can anyone explain to me why GOG is adding money to his account?

To counter-act the regional pricing, GOG gives you the difference between what you pay and the USD price in "GOG Funds", which you can spend on future purchases, so you won't see this if you buy in USD. They call it the "Fair Price Package" if you want to look up further details.

This is the solution eisberg77 is referring to (and again, I shall note this was done after the backlash)

xyem: See attachment.
It's a typo.

It should read "one" GOG.

Not quite. The currency doesn't matter. The location does.

Here in Sweden, I pay the same price (possibly with slight currency conversion differences) regardless of whether I use USD, EUR, or SEK, and I get the same fair-price package on all of them.

Ah, thanks for the correction. I think I mistook some comment about "the USD price" from somewhere.
