I really liked Torchlight and II. The art style appeals to me. I like the smoothness of the gameplay, the mix of lightheartedness in an ARPG, the sound design and the inventiveness (pets, for instance).

Is HOB all that? Is it fresh and innovative and fun and surprising?

Please advise.
Hob is nothing like Torchlight, it's more of a exploration/puzzle game. Best game I played last year, I would call it innovative for sure and very addictive. Even if gameplay was fun but there isn't much of fighting, focus is more on the puzzles.

Thanks!
Probably more akin to some of the later Zelda games with exploration and puzzles.
