rtcvb32: No... I usually lack ideas and can't string a good story together... plus it would probably end up as smut...
...which sells really well. :) NoNoWriMo is how I got started. I wrote about 1/3ish of a book called The Angel Cab Company. It's about a man in a dead-end job whose inheritance from an uncle changes him into the driver of The Angel Cab Company -- a simple taxi that takes hitchhikers and homeless people to where they need to go. His fares all have stories that relate and entangle. A good time was had by all.
When I was done, I could tell that it wasn't ready in my head to be ready for prime-time. But I gained a lot of confidence in my writing.
I highly recommend NoNoWriMo to everyone who can muster up the time. I had no kids at the time and probably would not be able to participate in a meaningful way at this point in my life. But if you can and want to, go for it!
