But I want to know what happened to the goat...!
Maybe it based on something else?
Don't be ashamed if you like Uinty. We love your avatar.
I saw this thread yesterday.

The first game was an example of a good game, the second was an example of a bad game (both in OPs opinion).

Now, I can't remember the names of the two games given as examples, but I do remember, that only for the first was an engine mentioned (unity).

Which was kinda strange, given the thread's title. I would have expected at least two engines.
Or were both games unity based (I genuinly don't know)?
There's no such thing as bad game engine, just bad video game developers.

I guess that's true.
It's actually true for many things.
The best tool can always only deliver work as good as the person who uses the tool is able to deliver.
I Personally Love UNITY

Hawt games on unity

they used Unity for battlestar galactica online

SiethCG also used it for his game Ghost of a tale

Let's talk about the DOOM/IDtech engine, whose traces of linage can be followed to this very day!

There's DOOM, HEXEN, STRIFE, Chex Quest, and many more. This lead to Quake Engine, which lead to the GoldSRC engine, and so on.
