well, the witcher 3 version is simple enough to get into. if the freemium version is the same, then it's about getting the highest number per round and winning 2 out of 3 rounds. some cards have special abilities and each faction has their own advantages. passing a round passes an entire round, not just a turn as i used to think. leader cards provide a little advantage too.
