I've played with making games in RPG maker, and for what it's worth, I'd rather use Unity to code a decent looking world and build my framework within that.

Exit Fate, a Suikoden-esque game made with rpg maker. Now also available on Android. Definitely worth a look
To the Moon was neat, though I'm not sure I'd consider it a game. More like a Visual Novel except you move RPG Maker characters to get from scene to scene instead of just clicking "next".

My own favorite is probably Book of Legends. Echoes of Aetheria is very nice as well, though I have it on hold and need to get back to it someday.

Breja: Is there any that doesn't look like a NES jRPG? If so - that one.

I was pretty impressed with Quest for Infamy.
i played Traum, which you can find on Steam and loved it.
Its not out yet but I played it before it came onto steam (It's also on Itch.io)

There are quite alot of good rm games, you just have to look in the right places, gamejole, itch.io, rpgmaker.net are good places to look.

Point taken. I guess a NES jRPG is preferable to... whatever the fuck that is.

That's the thing, good games might get buried under a lot of, uhm, rubble. That's why it's so important to let others know if/when you find a good RPG Maker game :D
!!! Apparently OneShot is an RPG Maker game.

Man sometimes you make me laugh hard. This is one of those times.
Bump, interesting to hear from gamers who've actually enjoyed this genre
Dreamscape is another one I really liked, though only because I had access to a Walkthrough since otherwise it can be hard to figure out where to go next. It's like a JRPG Metroidvania, with connecting maps and obstacles that you need to find items/abilities to bypass.
Any more good RPG Maker -games?

<Shameless ad>

Traum, which was made with RPG Maker, has overwhelmingly positive reviews on steam, so I guess that's a pretty good game :D
