Playing this great game then all of a sudden I can't save or load games permanently and wondering if anybody has a patch or solution to this so I can save and replay games? Thanks.

Are you saving your progress? By that i mean the 'save game' option in the menu, not quick save

I guess I should break down and install. I bought it the day it came out.

Played the original a few hundred times.

I noticed i could not load up my quick save from the title menu but started a game and did a quick load and it worked

Thanks for your help. How do you update the game? I can't find a way in my GOG screen. Cheers.

If you're using Galaxy, it should be automatic. If you aren't, you either need to redownload the installer (make sure the version number is correct) or, if one exists, a standalone update from the 'Download' tab in the gamecard in your library.
